Visited 2/4/23 for a 1 yr old birthday party. Beautiful place for the seniors in that area. The family was able to rent a room. Staff was great, including the custodians who were awesome.

The best place for seniors, where you can go and have fun with different activities in a safe and healthy environment, both physically and mentally.
The faculty is really nice. They have a huge hall to host big gatherings. Big parking lot provides ample parking. The video system is state of the art. AC and lighting is also good. Then what could be bad about this place? It is the management. They give lot of trouble during and after the event. They are extremely strict about facility usage. They will not unlock the door even a minute before your event time. There is no shade and during a hot summer day with sun scorching above your head, we were standing outside in 107 degree heatwave. There was no way to communicate with them as our host had not arrived. After a long time they realized the situating and opened the door. They will not let you use the cart or any equipment to unload your stuff from your car before the signature is given. They will not let you park the car near the door or in the adjacent handicap parking to unload, even when there is no car requiring handicap parking in your party. All our events occurred after the facility was closed, so no outside of the party person was expected to come requiring handicap parking. You are not allowed to stand in the corridor. You must be in the room all the time. They made us mop the floor, clean the toilet and even clean the mop and the bucket. In my humble opinion that just went too far and left bad impression. Just charge small cleaning fee and get a custodian to clean the facility. One other condition for the facility usage is you have to rearrange the furniture exactly as it was before you entered the room, including the picketball nets. May be it is a valid request from management perspective, but it creates a lot of tension between renter and management. Please take pictures/video of the room before you start using it. My only hope is that the management will take a note of this feedback and loosen up a bit to help the renter. After all it is a Loudoun County owned facility. May be run it like any other rental facility from the county, like a school.
If you are retired and live in the Ashburn area you owe it to yourself to visit. Much to do. You can Google the activities available. Food is in abundance.

I only come here on Sundays at 11:00 AM where Mark, Tammy, and Bill are SO Friendly and helpful to us, at Embassy Life International Ministries, the first church on the left past the front desk. Thank you for allowing our ministry to use this facility. We love it!!!!!!!!
