I had a deeply disappointing experience working at this facility. Unfortunately, racism was a pervasive issue. Certain staff members, including a nurse named Liz, consistently displayed discriminatory behavior towards Black colleagues. This included speaking condescendingly and using derogatory language. Shockingly, some residents and their family members also used racial slurs without being held accountable. I personally experienced a disturbing incident where a resident's family member referred to me as a 'little black girl' instead of addressing me as a grown professional. It's clear that racism is deeply ingrained in the culture of this facility. I strongly advise Black professionals to be cautious and prioritize their well-being if considering employment here. Dealing with racism was the most significant problem I faced while working at this job. Though the pay was great it took a toll on my mental health to be there.

My mother was recently at the hospital and upon intake the nurses taking care of her asked me where she lived. I told her Nazarethville nursing home and they were amazed that she was coming from a nursing home because she was so well taken care of. They said they almost never see anyone in such good physical condition coming from a nursing home. I should also add that Nazarethville takes good care of my mom not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. We feel blessed to have found this place.
My husband and I came to visit Ascension Nazarethville to tour and speak to someone regarding placing my mother. We did not have an appointment. Staff was very friendly and cheerful. Facility was organized and very clean. Residents appeared happy and engaged. Our wait was brief, we were accommodated as a guest. Noemi Soto, admissions director, took her time to give us a tour and answer all our questions. We were very happy with the facility and staff, and are looking to place my mother in their caring hands. It was comforting to feel trusting after our experience. Thank you.
I came to pick up a resident and to take him to his Doctors appointment. I signed in and went to first floor nursing station. Nazarethville is clean, and orderly and also adds flowers and pictures of residents and their visitors on the wall. Each room has a photo of the person next to their door. The cafeteria and chapel are beautiful. Nazarethville has a lot to offer including an outside large patio for residents to sit amongst flowers. I was impressed.
It was a stressful learning curve in getting our mother into a care facility as it was our first experience but both Doug and Deb were extremely helpful in helping us through the process navigation of getting my mother into their facility. They were very responsive, friendly, upfront, patient throughout the application procedure . A big shout-out to Doug who often responded to our messages even after his working hours. Understanding the urgency of our needs, they also informed us of open room possibilities within their network. Our entire family is very happy to get our mother into your facility as it was our first choice, secured clean friendly staff!!!!! Thank from Grace and the Chan family.
