My dad stayed at Franciscan Place for four weeks for rehab, and overall, it was a great experience. The facility was clean, and everyone we encountered was friendly and professional. It genuinely seemed like the staff enjoyed working there, which made a difference—it carried through to the care they provided. His rehab room was spacious and filled with natural light, and the smaller size of the facility made it feel well-staffed and organized. The structured routine helped keep his care on track. The only drawback for him was the lack of an in-room shower. He wasn’t a fan of the scheduled showers, mentioning that the shower room felt cold—but that’s subjective. As for meals, he had mixed experiences. He didn’t always receive everything he ordered, but every meal I saw was plentiful with a good variety, and he always had a big breakfast. Overall, the care, cleanliness, and atmosphere made this a strong choice for rehab. I’d recommend it.

I've seen the Bad and the good ( I don't want to see the ugly). The bad was the first nursing home I stayed at and the good is right here at Franciscan place. Franciscan place is spacious, clean, in a beautiful area and the staff here are mostly truly the most caring and loving and fun people I've ever met. In that vein, I'll try to tell you, in as few words as possible, what makes this place truly special. Something you might not think about when you think about a nursing home or rehab facility is the activities and the activities director. We have one here, and this is not hyperbole, if I ever thought I could see an angel in the flesh it is her. I've seen people come in here that didn't even show a reaction or basically move on their own for weeks and I've seen Jennifer talk to them and touch them and kid with them as if there was no difference whatsoever between her and them or them and anybody in the room. I've seen more than one of them smile for the first time when Jennifer was working with them. It would take too many words to share the experiences that I've seen with this very special person, but trust me, if I'm 72 years old and I'm playing Bingo and painting pictures and having fun you know either I've lost it or she's special LOL. Come and give this place a look, thanks Jennifer. ♥️
Fransciscan Place treated my mom wonderful and she got strong with therapy and so happy she made it back home. Nurse Marilyn M. was great. All the Therapist were great do not remember all their names. Thanks for giving my mom such great care.
The care, or lack thereof, that has been given to my mother is unacceptable. She is hardly checked on, not changed (clothing), not given a shower, diaper changes are infrequent, food is awful, and responses are extremely long when pressing call button. My mom has sat for an entire day in a wet diaper. She was also left alone while sitting on the commode today. She sat so long that her legs fell asleep and she needed the Hoyer to lift her. She is not a lift patient. She can stand with a gait belt and one or two people. My mom could have fallen off the toilet or died and no one would have even checked on her. I met with the executive director, but I would never recommend Franciscan Place in Brookfield. It has been a nightmare.
Good staff, courtesy, helpful, kind and considerate. Family member well cared for. Clean. Receptionist is welcoming. Unique sign in and out.
