Everyone I met were really friendly and kind. And That's essential we have someone you care about staying here. The facility is so clean and lovely in the halls and all the rooms as far as I could tell. The gatekeeper gave me good directions.

They are on schedule every 2 hours without having to be reminded. A great relief knowing that if a family member is not there someone is looking after our loved one. And they know exactly what they are doing and how to do it. The security is outstanding! It’s been almost a week and we look forward to seeing how the rehabilitation goes, it’s one of the main reasons we choose Asbury over other places closer to home. Their reputation for rehabilitated the elderly and getting them back home to their loved ones is what we heard from friends who had their parents at the Asbury.
After two weeks in hospital with almost no movement and recovering from a breathing problem, the case worker recommended rehab at a SNF. I chose Asbury. I cannot say enough about how well I was taken care of. The staff was so supportive and exceptional, from delivering meals with a smile, from helping me bathe, and from urging me to do more every day to regain my strength. I am going to get the names wrong, but thank you Laverne, Aleah and Turk. I will always remember how much you helped me to recover.
Do not trust the five-star reviews on this place. Most of them are from first time visitors who have not yet experienced The facility on a day-to-day basis. The nurses and CNA's are fantastic five Star worthy⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but Physicians in charge failed to understand patient's situation. And created a waste of days. And caused the patient to become worse than he was when he entered. Physicians failed to listen to the patient and what he needed to get better. They use their own understanding and failed to incorporate the patient's primary and rheumatologist help. There was no briefing as to their strategy for the patient upon entering into the facility. The nurses are fantastic, The facility is clean. But the executive staff is a failure. Their short-term rehabilitation center in my opinion from an executive standpoint is just an entryway for them to get you to buy into their long-term tenant homes. I believe I made a mistake of trusting the five-star reviews before entering my family into this place. Make sure you do your due diligence.
Appears to be an excellent facility. The only criticism I have is that once we were finished visiting, we could not leave until an attendant opened the door for us. We had to wait 10-15 minutes. It would be helpful/useful if there was a way for visitors to leave without requiring an employee present. Thanks.
