Thank God for Artis! This place is a perfect fit for my Mom who has dementia. Artis has four neighborhoods which makes life more simple and navigable for Mom. She loves her room which we call her apartment. She gets her hair done and nails done right on the premises! The staff is wonderful and caring. Steve, Sher, and Bri keep my Mom busy with all their activities and trips out in the community. They also bring in the best entertainment!!! Valeria, Karen and Lorelei, are the receptionists who are awesome and helpful with any issues or questions we have. We take Mom out to see her great grand kids basketball games, the movies, pool, restaurants, and sometimes just to the grocery store. I highly recommend Artis for a loved one suffering from dementia. Mom is living her best life.

The staff at ARTIS creates a warm and homey environment. They are always kind and attentive. There is always something going on relating to music or culture or just simple fun games. The residents have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors on their own while being in a safe environment. I couldn’t imagine a better place for Mom.
Whenever I go to Artis senior living South Hills I am always impressed with how well the people there are treated by the staff. All the staff talk with and engage with their seniors with kindness, patience, respect. Treating them in friendly conversation and assistance. They know all the names of the people living there. Artis is a very clean home, decorated for the seasons and holidays. It is bright and well decorated as well. The rooms are clean. There are always group activities going on. Staff and management do their best to make their clients feel comfortable and at home at the place they are living now .
My mother has been living at Artis Senior Living in the South Hills for over six months now, and I am truly grateful for the care and support she receives. She is thriving in an environment where the staff not only understand her needs but also communicate with her in a way that makes her feel valued and respected. In particular, Liz has been an incredible help to us as we navigated these first challenging months. Her guidance and kindness have made all the difference during this transition. My mother often speaks about how kind the staff are, and how much she appreciates the care they provide—not just to her, but to all the residents. Caring for someone with dementia truly takes a village, and I deeply appreciate everyone at Artis for being part of that village for my mother. Their dedication and compassion mean the world to us.
Steve Brand, the activities director, is always helpful to my Dad and our family. My Dad relies on Steve to help with his phone and really tries to relate to him. Steve is a shining star at Artis!
