A big KUDOS to Nurse Lisa from the 3rd floor for helping the family hear the voice of our loved one today. I know nurses are very busy with many important tasks taking care of the patients. Lisa was so obliging and her actions demonstrate how much she cares for the patients. It was a huge comfort to the family and freed our minds of worry just being able to talk to them briefly. We really appreciate YOU! Thank you so much, Lisa. (I hope someone will pass this message on to your supervisor. You deserve the KUDOS.)
My Daughter’s husband has an Uncle with Mental illness. I placed this Uncle there at Aristrocrat because they have a great behavioral program, and I have worked personally with the Administrator Rick, and he is awesome with behavioral patients. I have worked in many Behavioral Health facilities, but I find this is the best place that actually has a “real” plan for these type of people. Thank you to Rick and the wonderful staff for making my Daughter’s In-laws feel that their loved one is in a good safe place, and thriving well!
This is not the best place to be. Too many things happen that shouldn't. My daughter has sent her clothes down to laundry to be washed and they never get returned, despite the fact she has her name on them. So, she washes her clothes by hand in the little sink in the bathroom. Because she smokes and has privileges to go outside , she has been told she has to do this by one particular nurse even when it is very cold and snowing/raining. This nurse seems to make her own rules concerning certain people. All the other nurses allow her to smoke inside. My daughter just got over with pneumonia and she shouldn't be going outside in this weather. When my son has visited with her, he finds nurses sitting in their office playing games or shopping on their phones or no place to be found. The employees here do not seem to take their jobs very seriously and certain people make their own rules.
My friend has been a resident at Aristocrat for about 5 months. He has been in about 10 different nursing homes in the Cleveland area that accept Medicaid over the last few years. And I have visited him at ALL of them. This nursing home is top of the line in every way, the very best, from the genuine concern and care of ALL the staff, both the medical and support staff, to the cleanliness, the wide range of social activities and the physical therapy. I seriously don't understand the complaints.
