My father in law lives there and loves it. On a recent visit, we noticed all of the recent upgrades in the interior design of the common spaces for the residents. Every area is warm and inviting. The staff are pleasant, welcoming, and take a genuine interest in the well-being of the residents. It's wonderful to know my father in law can remain independent and be cared for if the need arises. I highly recommend Arden Woods for your loved ones.

I visited a very close friend there over the weekend and was very impressed with your facility. There was a security guard working Sunday night and he let us sit in the club house past the closing time because we had not seen each other for 40 years. I think his name was Ted and he was amazing. WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? For 17 years, everything was fine and dandy, living in a condo in a beautiful setting in the mountains of Western North Carolina. When my husband turned 86 three years ago, serious medical problems became prevalent; and I, eleven years younger, started to get some serious medical conditions. We both thought of the future and how we were going to care for ourselves, not wanting to place the burden on our children. We decided to check out “senior living/retirement communities” in our state as well as Virginia and South Carolina, where our children live. Within a 2-year span, we visited 8 CCRC facilities and decided Ardenwoods in Arden, NC, was the living environment most suited to our lifestyle. Ardenwoods is the smallest community we visited, housing about 90 residents. The setting and view are beautiful. The moving process was about as smooth as it could have been, including being provided with expert packers and movers. Another outstanding feature we immediately noticed after moving in to our spacious 3-bedroom apartment was the helpful, gracious, courteous, and friendly staff. We can say the same thing about the residents we have met! We feel we made the right decision to make our new home at Ardenwoods.
I do not personally have any relatives at Arden Woods. However, the several times I have visited this community as part of my job, the residents are always cheerful and freely share how much they adore the community. The rooms are very nice, and the staff is always friendly.
