My father, who had Advanced Alzheimer’s disease, lived his remaining months at Arden Courts, and my family and I could have not been more pleased with our choice. Not only did they have a firm grasp on Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related illnesses, the entire staff was caring, attentive, patient, and kind. They were flexible and accommodated my father’s special needs, and the environment was warm and comfortable. Before my father’s Alzheimer’s worsened and he could still comprehend simple things, he commented several times that he liked living there. When we’d visit him, he always looked dapper was in good spirits. Thanks for your care and support!

With almost 30 years as a personal trainer, I've had the opportunity to work with many seniors in various care settings. I can genuinely say that the level of care at Arden really stands out! I'm currently working with a gentleman who was previously at a different home. His calves and quads always carried a lot of fluid. Since he moved here, that fluid retention has significantly decreased, almost by half. We focus on strength, standing, and balance three times a week, and it's clear he's consistently well-cared for.
My sister was a resident at Arden Court 1125 Perry Highway 15237 for 3 years. She was very well cared for! The staff was caring, kind, and attentive. I can’t say enough positive comments about Arden Court!
We had our mom here for about 3 months, then we moved her to the Remington. Once she got to the Remington they immediately had her take a shower as she was not clean. While at Arden, she had contracted scabies (there was an outbreak) yet they never told us until I asked their staff about her scratching. I am high risk and could have brought that home to my family. They should have informed the families, even if the diagnosis wasn't in yet (it was later confirmed as scabies). My mom's POA had to resubmit documents several times to allow me access to ask about my mom's medical history and care. Some of the Arden staff kept denying that they had such paperwork, while others told me they had received it. Their admin / organization is a mess and the left hand often doesn't know what the right is doing. Mom's room was small and had no private shower. The communal shower is in need of major repair. There were 50+ ants on the dining area wall on the first day she moved into Arden. Thankfully, they were gone a day later after I had notified our social worker. The care staff are always pleasant when I see them and a few genuinely cared about my mom. Those few are the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. While no facility is perfect, there are other, nicer ones for the same price. I do not recommend this facility.
We brought our Mom to this place and was discharged after a month to move to another facility. The staff who took care of them seemed friendly however I feel their administrative work needs improvement. Our mother developed a few conditions while living there and well I do understand her dementia made things difficult to her, she received an infection or two that we were trying to get resolved. We are thankful for looking after her, but we needed to get her out due to the small space available for her. We wish Arden's administrative would have been more organized when taking care of our mother. I will not go into details however as soon as she moved to another location, the first thing they had to do was give her a shower due to her being as dirty as she was. For what was being paid and the care she was receiving and number of issues and infections she had staying at Arden, we were eager to get her out of there. The facility we have her in now is much bigger and pays about the same price.
