My in laws have recently been on respite at Arcare Oatlands with the plan that they will become permanent residents after respite. My husband and I toured 3 premium facilities in Meadowbank, Ryde and Concord which were closer to us, however the decision to take a place at Arcare Oatlands was a no brainer. It is by far the nicest facilities; with the most genuinely caring and welcoming staff, plus its fees are more reasonable compared to its competitors closer to the cbd - the short travel is worth it. I’ve been impressed by how impeccable the set up is - as one of the staff said during our tour, it’s a “resort without a pool”. They have an excellent schedule of activities (so much more than just bingo!) with happy hour, ice cream or milk shop stands, bus trips, daily walks- 4 activities per day to get involved. The rooms are beautifully appointed making It feel like a hotel rather than a nursing home. My in laws report the food is great also! Thank you to Lina, Manisha and the amazing team at Arcare Oatlands for making this difficult transition into aged care as smooth as possible for my in laws!

My mum has recently been in your facility. I would like to thank the nurses and staff for their hard work and care. My mum wasn’t easy. Complained all the time about food but we found it fine when we visited her. Only complaint is money taken from her purse a few times and some clothes missing especially her favourite skirt.This happens in all homes but it shouldn’t..
Amazing facility - looked after Mum and staff consistently provided great care.
