We moved to Arbor Terrace a year ago while living a very independent life in every respect. We were pretty sure we'd have to make some big adjustments but were determined to make the best of it. Instead, it has made the best of us. The caring, friendly staff is like family, and there are many activities that foster a stimulating and fun lifestyle with opportunities to form very special friendships within in a very special community of people. The team at Arbor Terrace is incredibly supportive! The place is immaculate. We've hosted events there, and they've also visited the Tenafly Senior Center to engage in activities, which we truly appreciate!
Mary and the staff at Arbor Terrace Teaneck are lovely. It’s a great place for an independent senior- they have a lot of activities to engage the residents and the apartments are all nice and spacious.
Overall, this is a wonderful place for your family member. The staff are truly incredible—friendly, attentive, and highly engaging. However, the quality of the food has significantly declined, which is disappointing given the premium cost of staying here. For example, the menu listed roasted vegetables, but what was served were watery, canned vegetables with no seasoning, barely warmed. The pasta was overly oily and nearly inedible. It’s disheartening to see residents paying such a high price and receiving meals that feel more like cafeteria fare than the quality they deserve.
All staff is excellent, they always respond with care. Shirley is amazing, she has helped us acclimate to the community and through our residency here. My husband and I are very pleased being residents here at Arbor Terrace in Teaneck, we find all the services we need. We would recommend anyone who is searching for Senior Living this wonderful community in Teaneck.
