Our mom spent 5 months here in their Evergreen Memory care unit. From the moment we sat down to sign our lease agreement the staff here have been phenomenal. The entire complex is spotless and their staff are pleasant and helpful. My brother who is local to the area visits quite often at random times and never once in 5 months did he find my mother in dirty clothes or her hair unwashed or uncombed. I am one of 6 children and somehow the staff memorized not only are names but our faces and were always asking if there was anything else they could do to help us. A big SHOUT out to Abby, Mirabel and Patricia for their ongoing care of my mom, Janessa our nurse from Agape Hospice who was patient and loving in her care of my mom and provided me with ongoing reports on my mom’s condition. Staff members Vivian and Veronica and the ENTIRE Evergreen care team were beyond WONDERFUL!!!! My mom’s room was always well cared for - clean, neat and organized and I never felt my mom was not getting full attention to her needs. The complex has great meals with lots of variety for their guests - Manny in the front restaurant was great with my mom - remembering her sweet ice tea and making sure her sweet tooth was well satisfied. We are truly blessed that my mom was in great hands and well cared for by the entire staff during her stay!!
We recently moved my dad to Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill after a less than wonderful experience at another memory care facility. To say we couldn’t be happier is an understatement. Barb Kobe from the Arbor Sales Team is so professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. After touring and talking with Barb, I knew Arbor Terrace was the perfect place for my dad. Lorenee “Lo” Greer from the business office made the paperwork and intake process an absolute breeze…so thankful for her. As soon as you walk through the doors at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill you’re greeted with a warm welcome from Stacy or one of the other sweet ladies at the reception desk. A beautifully decorated, clean entry, reception area, sitting rooms, bistro and dining area surround you as you enter. Abby has been a nurse and the Memory Care director for many decades. The processes and protocols she has in place for the care givers who care for the residents far exceeds my expectations. Her honesty and integrity make me feel so confident that my dad is receiving the absolute best care. Speaking of the BEST care…let me tell you about the amazing caregivers who go above and beyond for my dad and the other residents. Seiyena, Vivian, Jennifer, Kimeka, Ms.B and Brody are phenomenal. They are absolute lifelines for my dad and for me. They take excellent care of him and let me know if he needs refills on any of the things I like to provide for him in his room. Med Techs, Maribel, Patricia and Gwen are top notch. They are on top of my dad’s prescriptions and are in constant communication with me if they have questions or concerns regarding my dad or his medications. Victoria…Memory Care Activities Director Extraordinaire, sends a monthly activities calendar to all of the memory care families via email, listing the activities for each day. The activities are so engaging and include games, cooking, arts and crafts, family get togethers, contests and so much more. The residents also go off property to local restaurants, scenic bus rides or other fun outings, weekly. We are beyond pleased with the activities at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill. Last, but not least, the food and beverage director, “Manny” creates the most delicious, nutritious meals for his residents(and guests when they visit). He is also so friendly and personable to all, as is Austin from the maintenance team. Both were extremely helpful during the move-in process and beyond. Arbor Terrace has been an answered prayer and a blessing to my dad and I. The care he receives is exceptional and beyond compare.
Arbor Terrace of Hamilton Mill is wonderful. The memory care staff take meticulous care of residents. Abby, Maribel, Patricia, and the rest of the Evergreen staff are trained to meet the needs of residents that need increased TLC due to memory loss or increased functional need. They create a safe and loving environment for residents. Bridges is also an important transitional space for residents. Jessica and Blessing do a great job of connecting with residents and making them feel at home. Andrea also makes it a point to get to know each resident and their families. I have always felt welcome and really enjoyed my time with this loving group.
I’m currently in the process of transitioning my mother to an assisted living community and have been seeking recommendations from colleagues and the community. Arbor Terrace consistently stands out as a top choice. After discussing it with my siblings, my sister mentioned that her daughter’s friend and her friend’s mother both work there, so she reached out for more insight. She returned with very positive feedback. Jennifer, one of the employees, spoke highly of the community, saying she wouldn’t work anywhere she wouldn’t feel comfortable placing her own parents. Although her family requires skilled nursing, she expressed full confidence in the care provided at Arbor Terrace. Jennifer also mentioned that her daughter, Jada, works there during college breaks and has truly enjoyed the experience—especially valuable as she’s pursuing a career in nursing. Jennifer answered all our questions and connected us with Lo, whom we plan to contact soon to schedule a tour. All of this has made Arbor Terrace a leading option for our mom’s future home
