Before we decided to move Mom to Arbor Terrace at Crabapple in Alpharetta, we already knew something about the Arbor Company in that we were interested in their Bridges program. Mom wasn't ready yet for Memory Care, but needed something in between - and Bridges is perfectly suited. What won us over were the people - and their genuine interest in Mom's care and dignity. Everyone we met left us with a positive impression... and took initiative to ensure they understood Mom's needs. Mom's first couple of days were challenging (change and dementia don't mesh well together), and the staff took time and care with Mom. Dori worked diligently to make Mom's move expeditious and hassle free. I loved how Colleen made a point to check-in on Mom multiple times and also introduced her to new people. Oh, and the food... the food is amazing - delicious and nutritious. Their engagement portal and communications thus far are really great! They make a point of ensuring their residents don't stagnate in their rooms - but are engaged. It gives us peace of mind to know she's in good and experienced hands. We really feel like we made the right decision - to put our trust in Arbor Terrace at Crabapple.

Went for an informative tour visit and met with Dori Laack, the Sales Director. Dori took the time to show me around entire facility, explain their methodology, and answer all my questions regarding their care. I came away very impressed with the entire team at Arbor Terrace. While the timing didn’t work for my loved one to become a resident of Arbor Terrace, I have no doubt that this is a great place for any senior and their families that need care, especially those that are dealing with memory care issues. I have already recommended Dori and the Arbor Terrace team to my neighbor and others who are looking for a loving, caring place for family members experiencing cognitive decline.
My company, Home Helpers Home Care, has been assisting residents at Arbor Terrace Crabapple with one-on-one care for the last couple years. We also partner with Arbor Terrace Crabapple in their Angel Program which has one of our caregivers helping a new resident acclimate to the community on their first day moving in. The Angel Program is the perfect example of how dedicated Arbor Terrace Crabapple is to ensuring the happiness and well-being of their residents. Everyone on our team has been consistently impressed with the passion to serve that is evident in everyone that works at Arbor Terrace Crabapple. Dori Laack, the Sales Director, and Colleen Mayhew, the Move-in Coordinator, do a beautiful job of setting the table for each resident to thrive at Arbor Terrace Crabapple. I recently volunteered at Arbor Terrace Crabapple thru NCL and coordinated with Tricia Holloway. The entire staff was so friendly and you can tell they truly care about the residents. Allison greeted us in Assisted Living to set up for the ice cream social and guided us on ways to engage with the residents. After a few games of cards and getting to socialize with the residents, we moved to Memory Care. It was moving to see Brenda bring smiles to their faces thru exercises, singing and sharing travel stories. I will be setting up another volunteer session soon!
My company Angel Hearts Care has been providing private care services at Arbor Terrace at Crabapple for the last decade. As one of Angel Hearts' many caregivers, I have had the privilege of being sent to many different facilities where ever our services are needed. Of all the places my job takes me, Arbor Terrace is my absolute favorite place to report on duty. Our clients there are so well taken care of, it makes our work so much easier and the general atmosphere is simply inviting. The entire Arbor team from management, department heads, housekeeping and floor staff are so engaged, they are always at hand to assist, whenever we need them, and though we are third parties in the community, we have always been accorded access, dignity and respect, like members of their staff.
