It’s always stressful to be away from loved ones. There are so many what-ifs when thinking about taking a family member for in- patient therapy or for long term care for respite and to prove safety when you no longer can. I’ve learned over the years that a facility does not need to be brand new to be caring and loving. I also know the same can be said about other businesses. I always look, listen and feel for the staff and resident’s interactions. If they seem happy, you can be assured your loved one will be taken care of. Here, Staff is heard happily chatting with residents, residents seen smiling and graciously greeting me as I entered. Hands free doors and gates, clean halls and rooms and residents dressed and groomed with extra special touches. Staff acknowledged residents, other staff and shook hands, discreetly sanitizing hands between interactions. Seems like a big family, great place to work and I know I would send my loved ones there if home was not an option. Great job!

The staff at Arbor Hills did a great job taking care of my mother. They promptly addressed any concerns that I had. My mom did PT to work on balancing and was stronger after they worked with her.
Horrible place. Breaks all kinds of laws. Employees, including the manager Caleb, park in handicap parking so they don’t have to walk. They clean everything outside and dump all the chemicals in the storm drain. If you call about a complaint they will hang up on you. The employees are super loud inside and out 24/7. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke stay clear. The employees smoke so much I bet people two blocks away could smell it.
The lady at front desk was kind and friendly and clear..walked me to my friend's room..the 2 personal that came in ticassistvmy friend were sweet and friendly..I worked in a nursing home once and recognize professionalism..I found it at Arbor Hills. Jeane E. Taddonio
Horrible. They should be happy they’re receiving 1 star. My mom had hip replacement surgery and when she was released from the hospital, she came to this place for rehabilitation. My mother wasn’t there 24hrs, before they called and told me she fell. Then the nurse Flor tried to sugar coat it and say she was sitting on the floor. Fast forward to this morning where I received another call stating she lost her balance, tripped, and fell. Mind you she had one of their staff members with her and a walker. Some of the people who work here have a very unprofessional appearance about themselves. The outside looks nice but the rooms are outdated and depressing. I’m in the process of trying to find another facility for my mother because this place don’t cut it. I suggest no one puts their loved one here, especially without doing extensive research. To add insult to injury, all of a sudden the insurance is not covering her anymore and room and board is $375 a day when the level of care isn’t worth a dollar and fifty cent. This all came about after I complained about my mother falling under their supervision.
