My Mother has lived at Arbor Glen for 3 years. While it has gone through some changes, good and bad I feel confident she is getting good care. Many staff members have come over from Cedar Ridge since it closed which has benefited Arbor Glen with new and very good CNA's. The nursing staff, NP and DON are always available to discuss/navigate my Mother's care and do a wonderful job of listening. Cleaning could be better and carpet replacement would be nice in the cafeteria. They have a wonderful library filled with books if your loved one loves to read. A nice activity room and plenty of laundry areas. Mother can not eat a lot of food so I can not speak to the food but have heard good and bad, but what place has great food?? Something very important I want to add is how the Director of Arbor Glen has worked with me and my family financially. Without her understanding and willingness to negotiate a price, Mother would be in a nursing home. So to that I say THANK YOU! All in all, my mother is SAFE, well CARED FOR and HAPPY. So overlooking some things that may not be perfect .. I am okay with.

I wouldn’t suggest arbor Glen for a place to live. They never have enough food for the residents. My father inlaw lived there and he had to buy food at the grocery store a lot and cook in his microwave to be able to eat due to not being enough. They charge an astronomical amount for rent considering the lack of care they give. His apartment was always filthy. Since he didn’t give a 30 day notice to move out they sent in to the disability office which canceled his disability and now has to reapply. Pretty low of them to do so out of spite.
I have a Very Dear Friend, who needed to move to a 24 hour Medical Facility, to ensure she has needed medical, proper nutrition, and better living conditions than her previous residence. Sadly, this place has new ownership, and they are cutting back in nutrition for all residents. Most all are getting sick from eating "their" food or are getting weaker and thinner from not eating! Think twice about moving to this place. A positive update, the food isn't making anyone sick anymore. I'm glad to hear that. But,management is using "scare tactics" on the tenants. I can't be more specific to protect my Friends identity. These are elderly and sometimes depressed individuals who just want a safe place to call home. Please say a Prayer that management sees the Light. Another Update: My friend decided to move to a different facility. If you have a choice, don't go here.
Dont put your loved one here. It looks great in the pictures. The facility is very nice and appears wellkept. In 14 months it has gone through 2 directors, currently lt has none and other staff drop like flies due to poor pay, and ill treatment. Everyone is so sweet when you call, if they answer the phone. But changes don't happen. They willtry to tell you itis cheaP. Maybe compared to California. But this is indiana. Your rent includes meals. They should be edible. Disappointed
Nurses are very polite staff is very polite housekeeping is excellent and kitchen staff and no complaints think portions could be a little bigger but well done happy to live here has shuttle to go back and forth to stores and outside activities as well
