Cool staff with a few duds. I have been here for about a year and meals are usually on time and good to eat. This is more of a group home so I have 3 other roommates. This is only supposed to be a temporary living space so I hope that they work faster with getting people in and out. Other than that it is usually kept clean with housekeeping and they have a monthly activity for birthdays. 4/5 due to extensive time delays on getting out of the system. It’s also cool how they tend to have extra clothes when you run out.

I have visited a friend here she tells me the people steal her cloths, shoes, money and the nice stuff. She said it is not the residents stealing it is staff because they control everything for them locked up. Also I did not like that they do not have restrooms for guests and visiting is one room only. The facility also controls that you can not go into the bedroom to see her so if she is not doing well they just tell you she does not want to come out to visit. I believe this facility needs to make many many changes.

Hi! A'm Calvin in Aperion Care in Chicago heights and I have became the resident council president. My stay have been a couple of year so far and things change far fo the best .Sometime days are moreover the hump but I stroke through it. I give Aperion a five star for the better up keep that their are working so hard to preform for.
Staff and Administration are amazing! Big shout out to ALL the CNAS, they really are the front line of Aperion and make sure residents receive the best care every single day. They work extended hours and spend so much time at making sure everyone that walks through Aperion’s doors, feel heard and understood. And that goes for staff, residents, family, etc. Great place to work and Amazing place to live. Keep up the good work.
