I contacted this place for my 84yo dad, who requires full time assistance, as he is visually impaired and has other health problems. The first visit to the (shared) room was done quite quickly, and it was a planned visit. On check in day, we were told as per their policy, we couldn't accompany my dad to his room, but my daughter insisted. We very soon understood why. She walked in the room to find lots of bed bugs running around on the mattress and pillow! When she addressed it to the management, the answer was 'oh it reached upstairs too?' Meaning, the place is infested and THEY KNEW! That showed a lack of honesty from their part. And bed bugs surely is the last thing elderly people need in their beds or place they live! We obviously cancelled everything and arranged accordingly for my dad to not stay. Requested a refund of the deposit and left. No apology or explanation from the management, even 2 months later!! Please check EVERYWHERE properly before you leave your parents or any family member there. Sad for those living there in these conditions and paying such a high price. Shame really!!

I know Calodyne,very nice place,having a welcoming sight. Would you welcome an aged person of around 60 having very limited f members to look after and awaiting osthoritist treatment?
