It sure is life-changing when one moves from your home to independent living, but they will never understand until you come and actually do the tour!!! My mother and I fell in love with AH Wildwood instantly. I find myself to be extremely particular, and this decision was very important with my mother. ALL staffer’s are wonderful…. Directors, front desk, receptionist, Maintenance, Sandy in the dining room, you name it. Even Dee, who comes in to personally hang ALL your pictures, shelves, and wall mount your TV! The minute you walk in it’s so immaculate and inviting. The units are spacious (even when you think maybe it’s too small (like is on the Colorado) turned out to be perfection!! The amount of activities offered help your loved one engage, and become part of the community. When you do your tour, you’ll hear about all the wonderful things they offer. I would list it all on here but it’s probably best to go in for the surprise. It’s basically resort living. We are exceptionally particular about our food, and the menu is outstanding along with the taste. Extremely accommodating to what they want. With my mother, having been there only one week, she is thriving more than she has in the last 20 years of her life. We are so grateful that she is in wonderful hands and has these opportunities. Can’t stress enough to book a viewing just to see it yourself.

I’ve had to change my review from 5 to 1 star. My Mom did not live there 6 months before rent was raised to 5151.00 a month. Now, about a year later, her rent has jumped to 5514.00. The last time I visited we had to request the pool and hot tub be cleaned. Someone is getting very rich!

I visit there every week and do not hear complaints. I have only heard good things about the food. All the employees that I know are wonderful and seem to love their jobs. I think the apartments are the best around because they all have washers and dryers and full kitchens and all are a generous size. I always tell the ladies that when I grow up I want to live here.
OK, well thought out business model. They need some help in culinary, but expected when you try to cook for 300 people or more. Employees are very nice to residents and a welcome addition. Keep up the great work.
