1673 Haslett Rd, Haslett, MI 48840, United States
My sister and I moved our parents into American House, Haslett MI on Feb 23, 2024. Our mother is 83, and our father is 89. (A. Lyon and D. Lyon). They have been married 62 years and have lived in the same house in Traverse City overlooking East Bay and the Grand Traverse Resort. This move was huge for them, mentally and physically. We knew this needed to be done and never doubted that God was leading us to American House. Brooke and Jeremiah have been our saving grace during this time of worry and lack of sleep. They gave me their cell #'s, and even though I had their email, the texting just seemed more personal and made me feel that the decision we had made was the right one. The day we got there, Jeremiah met us immediately and made sure we had all the equipment we needed to get everything to mom and dads new home. Victor in maintenance put up curtain rods that we would have done that weekend, but his doing so lessoned what was on our list to do. Brooke also visited our parents and introduced herself. I am blown away by their hospitality, grace, attention, love, and patience that have been given to our family over the last few months of planning. After many long hours over 2 days, the chaos has now become a beautiful new home for mom and dad. Change doesn't happen overnight. There are still adjustments they will have, new people to meet, and come to terms of why this move was needed. Without Brooke and Jeremiah being in the background, easing our minds, we would NOT have chosen American House. I already mentioned the hospitality being above and beyond the norm, but also want to give a shout out to Robin and Adrienne at the front desk. We have yet to walk by them without them smiling, asking if we need anything. If they didn't have an answer to a question we asked, they wrote it down and let us know when they had an answer. The meals have also been outstanding! I can't say enough about American House, their staff, and the home they have created to make our parents feel welcome.

I can't say enough positive things about American House Meridian. During the time my dad was there, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, making sure his every need was met. The building itself is stunning, with everything new and beautifully maintained. The food was consistently excellent as well, which was a huge plus for my dad. The management team went above and beyond to work with us and ReadyCare to ensure we stayed within our budget for both rent and care. I highly recommend American House Meridian to anyone looking for quality senior living!
Facility is still under construction but you can tell the quality work it’s being done in the size the structure looks like it’s gonna be a very nice place to move
Nice, beautiful new building. Jeremiah, the Director, is a tremendous person and runs a great organization. They are easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone looking for senior living in the Lansing Area.
