I regret moving my parent into this place. Between neglect, management not following through, safety issues, employees fighting where cops have to be called, and name calling of residents. I am getting my parent out of there. I feel awful for the residents who don’t have family to advocate or who can’t advocate for themselves or are afraid to speak up. I would give 0 stars if that were an option.

Wish 0 stars were a thing...my mother died after falling here and then they had her dog licensed to them.
My mom lived there for a couple of years. She was terrified to put her call light on because some of the staff were so angry and cruel. Towards the end of her life she could not press her call light any longer so the staff just left her in bed for 20 plus hours without feeding her. Thankfully I was able to check on her and wash her up and get her in a chair and feed her. Some of the people were really great but if they were not there she would be left for dead. I know that job is hard, but to leave my mother for hours and hours with no food or water was absolutely horrible. Some of the other residents would check on her and ask them to help her and even then they would scold the residents for going in her room but never check on her. This experience has me so afraid to ever become helpless. My poor mother died scared and confused. I can only pray God will send compassionate people to work there.
Every inch of this place was thought through and made to accommodate! Although my parents passed away a week before they we're to move in, my interactions with staff was nothing shy of wonderful. Everyone was so helpful and informative, and the residents were so happy. After touring 7 other facilities, this one offered the best care, the best ammenities, for the best price. Such a beautiful place!
I would give zero stars if i could. At first the facility was very good. Over a short period of time we have had many issues with multiple problems from this place. It is my understanding an assisted living facility is in the best interest of its residence, but this facility and the lack of, and poorly trained staff are becoming very disconcerning to me. My main issue is when my mother was attacked by a dementia patient in the dining area around 3+ staff members. Nothing has or is in the process to solve the problem and the staff had no idea how to handle the issue. This was the first of the assaults and harrassment. It has gotton so bad from lack of qualified employees that my mother is terrified to leave her room, even for meals due to dementia patients being left unchecked and follow my mother around harrassing her and attempting to assault her. All without any staff member to assist. My mother has had a traumatic brain injury and if she gets hit in the head it could cause her to become disfunctional. This is simply unacceptable by any standards. If this problem is not investigated and settled to a degree that my mother and i are acceptable with, i will pursue further legal action. Not only against the facility itself but the negligence staff on site for neglect to a person of disability. I do know this facility is already under investigation but i demand more action to be taken. I am not scared of the courts and i will spare no dollar amount to ensue this problem is corrected and happens no where else ever.
