I was a resident there, when I arrived in May 2024 I was met with D.O.N. and her nursing staff and STNA. They all was so helpful and treated my family and I great. You can not beat the staff, they treated you like part of the family. From the Nurses, STNA, Therapy, to kitchen I will give each Five Stars they deserve it. I would like to thank each one of you for making me feel like I was part of the family there at Amberwood Manor.

Cleveland clinic told me this was the best one but I had family members that knew of this they didn't like this place at first I did and the Dr that goes there Richard Hill used to be my husband's doctor when he had his own law office www I know I seen him in my brother's room I got to say my brother has three very nice nurses Heidi Danielle and Amanda they all treated him like as a human I don't like the social worker I don't dislike anybody but one day she tells you it's one price and one day if you tell you it's another price and she tried to help my brother out with getting his disability and Miss CareSource what disability and CareSource said they both are missing a paperwork he's had a couple infections while he's been in there and he's not he shouldn't be taking care of that feeding tube that's supposed to be their job I know they're trying to kick him out of there and everything we got told his bill was 30,000 one time was told it was 365 a day and then we got told it was either 260 or 2:20 a day plus his medications is Medicaid paying for his medicine if you do 220 times 31 days it comes out to be 8,000 I could just tell they didn't want in there I said that from the get-go and I thought the social worker is very nice and I got to see a different side of her she's taking care of two nursing homes that's too much on anybody yeah he's got a lot of great care there then gets brought up for something they know that he has anything anxiety really bad I can see if he really did something wrong but they're writing him up because he has anxiety I believe that's wrong he has stage 4 cancer until they do the test we don't know if there's cancer free yet a homeless shelter can't put somebody in a homeless shelter and a on the street at 6:00 in the morning how's he supposed how's he supposed to get pureed food and cleaning his feeding tube they want to put him in Akron where there's a real bad one at they found a couple people from up in Akron that was homeless dead and he's not going to be one of them everybody expects me jump and run up there and everything my own health problems taking care of my husband health problems and I like Pastor Mike who comes in there and does a karaoke I seen the people in the kitchen get snotty with him when he asked for a cup of coffee that one day I witness an egg yell at him and tell him his door must stay open well I'm going to tell you right now she could have said in the nicer way his roommate on the floor he had had a stroke he can see Shadows can you turn the lights off and on the TV off and on Ivan went down got the nurse for him Amanda who is very sweet I think she was saying to him kissing him of being a junkie wouldn't know his whole story and everything because the marks on his arms nope he like needles and he still has two more surgeries to go through CAT scan PET scan to see if he's cancer free Emily complained about pain Beyond his left side on the outer side of the breast nope not neuropathy he wasn't seen a cancer doctor and nobody told him about the infection in his bleeding tube I know he had an open wound on his lip and open wound on his neck I had family members tell me don't trust a certain person that works there all I can do is pray for that place and pray for these people and pray for that person I'm a people person I try to get along with everybody I'm not like other people in my family we're me I can't do that you have to push my button to make me say things I don't want to have to ask God to forgive me for things that I've said family members will say what's on their mind but they just want to put them out the streets when we got told from the gecko they don't never kick nobody out of the streets I thank God for the three nurses he has I never met the midnight one yet only thing I got to say is puts a loved one in there go and check on make sure they're getting a bath and that the room is being cleared brand new places are short-staffed when I see dirt under a bed and know it shouldn't be put on the nurses that's not their job and Ashley that stays there
Amberwood is a beautiful facility, I feel very blessed to be a part of such a wonderful team. I witness daily the time, effort, and care that goes into our residents here, many workers go above and beyond and don't even realize it because it comes so naturally. The building is a small community and it shows, we all work together and are like a family here. We have wonderful food choices, activities programs, and our own therapy gym making residents have a more accommodating stay here. Our nursing staff and STNA's are very compassionate in their work and provide exquisite care, that you will find no where else. You don't believe me please come see for yourself, schedule a tour today.
Amberwood Manor has an excellent staff who genuinely care about the residents they serve. Their activities are super fun for both the residents and their families who are visiting. The therapy gym is beautiful. It has a small town feel to it that is very welcoming. If I could give it 10/5 stars, I would.
Let’s be honest, NO ONE wants to be in or put their loved one in a nursing home, but sometimes we must. My family loves this facility! When we were faced with choosing a place for our loved ones long term care we visited, unannounced, several local nursing facilities and Amberwood Manor was at the top with meeting the majority of our “wishlist “ of things we expected. We have had family members in several of the local larger facilities and we have become a firm believer that bigger is NOT better. This smaller facility definitely lends it self to a more caring, friendlier atmosphere. The entire staff has gotten to know not only our loved one but our family. They have gone out of their way to help and accommodate us whenever special occasions have come up and whenever we have a question or concern they will sit down and discuss it with us. They do not in turn hesitate to contact us if they have a concern or question and we greatly appreciate open lines of communication-this is so important to insure the best possible care. We would and do recommend Amberwood ! I would just like to update my review -Ten Stars⭐️During the Covid-19 shutdown Amberwood has handled the situation with the up most care, dignity, and respect for the residents. They have done an amazing job trying to stay on top of an ever changing situation. I was always able to get any of my questions or concerns answered. They ensured phone calls, Face Time, and deliveries for my loved one, and kept us up to date on any health concerns. We are truly blessed to have such a great team looking out for our loved one. We can never thank you enough!
