My mother was there for about 2 weeks doing rehab. Her PT and OT were good. One of the admins, Liz, went above and beyond to help make my mom's transition home go smoothly. My mother is actually switching her GP to the attending she saw there. Obviously, experiences vary, but I would not hesitate to choose this facility again.

Hello, my good friend just stayed here for about a month and got very good care according to him and also I visited about 4 or 5 times and everybody was pleasant out of all the employees there I was especially impressed with: Dionne Stewart an LPN that was always organized and helping everybody and was very helpful when he was discharged I really liked her she's a hard worker I hope she's getting highly compensated for her skills compassion and overall personality! Also Roxanne at the front desk was very welcoming and I really liked her too she made me feel very comfortable coming in there!! Good work ladies! And thank you so much for helping my friend and all the other people you help!
Firstly, The staff are friendly for the most part and I can tell they try to do what they can, I’m grateful for the care they provided me under the circumstances. But honestly go somewhere else. I was in this facility for several weeks for rehab and there were times I was waiting to go to the bathroom for well over three hours. The times between pushing the call button and response is neglectful. I made sure several times with maintenance (a very kind man) that my call button was working since it’s an outdated system, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it wasn’t but it really was just straight up no response especially for the night shift. I had to call somebody from home to come help me and when they walked in people were just sitting around. I tried numerous times to speak with management and dean of nursing and the care line while admitted about the situation and it didn’t really improve, I’m not sure if they were ABLE to improve with their low staffing or not. There are genuinely good people working there, truly, so I don’t know what needs to change at that facility (more staffing maybe? Night shift is 1 person taking care of all 40 beds on more than one occasion). But I hope something does change soon for them- for the benefit of both patients and staff.
This place didn't care for my Auntie at all. They messed up her medications for months keeping her unresponsive or agitated, didn't feed her because they kept her Overly medicated during the day because the staff and the doctor that are supposed to be working doesn't do their job, do she wasn't eating. She's fell like more than 6 times here and the last time she cut her head open and she's on blood thinners. The directors are never available. The nurses don't move from their stations even when they're patients cry out for help. They let one of their patients know that she could not go to another nursing home nor could she request to go to the hospital because they are ignorant and don't realize they are violating the client's rights. They're cheating their clients because they are supposed to give them $50 a month allowance and these people are saying they are not getting any of that which means the nursing home is stealing. And threatening them with losing their benefits through hospice and others if they seek further medical attention when they feel it is necessary outside of the facility. They tried that with my aunt and we took her to the hospital anyway despite their social worker made it seem like she will lose her benefits for hospice because she went to the hospital when that's not so and she made it seem like it was difficult for her to get back on and then after she was in the hospital we get a call saying that she's been kicked out of the nursing home and they was picking up her supplies. And that's only because we've been complaining for months about her conditions in the nursing home, about her being overly medicated, them not getting her prescriptions correct and about them not treating her right with basic needs, and feeding her when she needs to be feed because of her Alzheimer's in dementia and making sure she's hydrated because they know she's can't on her own. When we took her to the hospital she was dehydrated with other issues their nurses and so called doctor should have picked up on. Not caring unless the family is smart enough to know the system and make them accountable. And just to have her put out because we wanted her be taken to a hospital, we didn't even get the call we found out through another party that they was putting her out. This nursing home is not about anything if the clients cannot do for themselves and advocate properly do not send them here because they will be abused, neglected and thrown away to just dry up and die. There are some aids that care but they're not enough to cover the whole facility there's so many nurses there in the administrator who doesn't care we've had meetings with them and mnothing changes it just gets worse they don't have time to talk to us they just ignore us after the initial conversation about what's going on. It's sad that people that work here don't have the empathy that they need to care for these people that need them because if it was them they would do what someone to do right by them, but they won't. And they're proven that by kicking her out because we wanted her to be treated right with respect and love the way they claim to treat their residents. My aunt did not get that treatment but from a one or two of the caregivers And maybe only one or two nurses. That's it over the months that she was there. If you can afford it and your family can at least split the payments try to put your loved ones in a better place because places like this is not it, if you don't mind them coming here to die when they cant stand up for themselves then that's up to you.
When you hit the call button plan on waiting two hours. They don’t even show up when you have to go to the bathroom!!! The doctor wrote out the treatment plan with prescriptions and everything, and they never bothered to give him his medication’s. They are terrible!!!! After 2 back surgeries and a neck surgery within a week you don’t stop giving pain meds!!! His Doctor faxed over orders, which nobody bothered to follow. They also ran out of pills. I was there one day and asked for them to bring the bed pan and she played on her phone until I insisted. Terrible experiences
