This retirement home is a place full of warmth and humanity. The loving staff treats the residents with heart, humor and genuine care. Despite the physical and emotional stress, you can feel that they do their work with dedication. Everyone is greeted in a friendly manner, and even as a relative you can always find an open ear and a coffee here. The quiet atmosphere in a quiet location invites you to feel good, and the offers enrich the everyday life of the residents. As a relative, it is reassuring to know that the people here are not only cared for, but supported with genuine warmth.
I can't understand some of the comments. The comments about staff shortages aren't due to the Alloheim, but to the general shortage of skilled workers. Now for the main review. Our grandma was just there for short-term care, and both the support and the nursing care received 5 stars. We were informed of every change or unusual occurrence. It's been a very pleasant atmosphere since day one; our grandma feels very comfortable there. The weekly schedule is also really attractive, and the summer festival was really nice. I really feel sorry for people who come to such a facility and have such extremely nagging relatives; it's hard to be happy with them. The staff does everything for the well-being of the residents, and if it takes a minute longer due to staffing issues, they just have a little patience. The entire building is very well-maintained, as is the tone of communication. Keep up the good work 🥰 We'd love to come and visit Grandma and send our regards to your friendly faces. Our rating of the Alloheim senior residence Körne based on experiences from February 2024. A relative with care level 3 and dementia was cared for as part of short-term care. Incompetent residence management in the facility. Dealing with relatives: not good Communication with relatives was accusatory and condescending residents are secondary. The only one who tries hard and does a great job is the nursing service management. Care: inadequate Personal hygiene was not carried out to a sufficient extent and clothing and bodies were often soiled with leftover food, urine and feces. There was no consideration of specific dementia concerns. Necessary assistance with eating was not provided. His general condition deteriorated so much that we had to move him to another home, where he died a few days later. Organization and personnel situation: inadequate There are too few staff on duty. The few existing nursing staff also have to take on organizational and administrative tasks.
An oasis of care and warmth - my impression of the Alloheim During my visit to the Alloheim, a home for older people, I was able to gather numerous positive impressions that I would like to share. As soon as I entered the building, I was struck by the impressive cleanliness and transparency of the facility. The home is spread over several floors, each carefully designed to provide residents with comfort and security... Despite the many positive aspects, there is one point that might be important for future considerations: The Alloheim is unfortunately located in an area with no nearby green spaces or parks. This could be a small disadvantage for residents and visitors who value proximity to nature and want to enjoy walks in the countryside. The immediate surrounding area consists primarily of streets, sidewalks and other houses, which limits the opportunities for pleasant walks directly outside the facility... A highlight of the Alloheim is undoubtedly the staff. The employees have consistently impressed me with their willingness to take responsibility, their hard work and their willingness to help. It is clear that the residents' well-being is their top priority, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the home... The availability of parking spaces for visitors was not clear to me during my visit, and I am inclined to assume that there are none since I did not notice any. This could be a challenge for some visitors, however the home is very accessible by public transport, which alleviates some of this problem... In summary, Alloheim offers an excellent choice for older people seeking care in a clean, safe and welcoming environment. Although the location is not ideal in terms of natural recreational areas, the quality of care and excellent accessibility more than make up for it.
