My niece was there. They did not treat her like a 56 year old person who wanted to live. They treated her like a person that had no will to live. They kept giving her medications that did not agree with her. They gave her medications just to keep her quiet. Then they sent her to BMC in Boston where they continued to do the same. Instead of Boston they should have sent her to BMC in Brockton a Mental Health facility. Please be aware, advocate for yourself and your loved ones. The doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses are not always right. My niece died because she was being given the wrong medications and too much of them.

Having arrived at West Acres with major needs, I was impressed with how quickly I was encouraged and able to progress. Overall, staff are very caring and capable. This is perhaps especially true for the PT and OT folks, who are both focused and friendly. I'd not heard of this facility until a day or two before I went there, but I have no regrets whatsoever in having gone there and greatly benefiting from their services. And the food was quite good as well. As the above suggests, I highly recommend Alliance Health's West Acres rehab facility in Brockton.
I have been in the healthcare business for over 30 years and West Acres is by far the best facility that I have ever worked for. It is an honor to be in charge of a nursing home that has staff that are loving, kind, and go above and beyond to provide exceptional care.
Awesome! Special thanks to Jordan, Rita, and Christie with ACTIVITIES and the resident Matt who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMY. ♫♬ Liam The Leprechaun & Friends™ continued our St. Patrick's weekend musical ventriloquist comedy performances at Alliance Health at West Acres on 3/17/25 St. Patrick's Day. Liam is not a real leprechaun, but he is a real dummy.
My mom spent the last few months of her life at West Acres and I couldn’t have been more grateful for the care she got. The nursing staff really treated her like their own family member. My mom was referred to a great hospice agency/team and they made sure, along with the nursing team, that she was comfortable and not in pain during her transition. While my mom was actively passing away, they made sure that refreshments were available to our family around the clock and they were so gentle/respectful throughout the process. We really are so appreciative of all of the staff!
