Stay away from this place. Administration changes way too often and they will nickel and dime your loved until they get every penny. Then have no compassion when they have to leave. Also be aware they are NOT A Medicaid facility so after they suck the money out of you- you will still have to start over with nothing. Don’t do it

My mother moved into All American Assisted Living in May. She was blind. We paid for additional services (showering, toileting, med assistance). She had three UTIs in six months. With my mother, UTIs cause confusion and instability. My mother fell numerous times while at All American. She fell on November 6, we were not notified. When we went to see her on November 7, she was argumentative, yelling at staff, refusing her medication. This was not typical for her. We took her to urgent care to check for a UTI. They were unable to get a urine sample. By this time she was not responding. We had an ambulance transport her from urgent care to Exeter hospital. Not only did she have a severe UTI, she had suffered a significant brain hemorrhage when she fell at All American. My mother spent ten days in Exeter hospital on hospice. She died November 16. I would give All American zero stars but it will not let me.
My mom is a resident of All American in Kingston. All American is a smaller facility in comparison to some of the larger options out there , so it does offer a more homey atmosphere. The management and staff really seem to care about all of the residents. The community seems to be well managed and is always very clean. They offer daily projects and activities and have outings often to keep the residents active and involved. The current director, Shannon, is very friendly and caring. She is kind and understanding and very easy to talk to. The first time you talk with her, you will feel like you have known her for years. The management team and staff work hard to keep residents happy and safe. This was a good choice for our loved one.
