I truly enjoyed my stay at Alameda Center. The food was great, and the staff provided excellent care, always checking in to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The physical therapy program played a huge role in my recovery, helping me regain my strength quickly so I could return home to my family. Thank you, Alameda Center, for your outstanding support and dedication. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of compassionate and skilled care!

04/12/2025: Hello, my name is Mark D. Writz and I’ve been a resident of the Alameda Center since 12/17/2020. This date is fresh in my mind, because it was the day that I left a horribly abusive situation for an absolutely wonderful one. Now, that’s not to say that I didn’t have my own (false) beliefs about what living in a long-term care facility must be like. I envisioned heavy doors being locked behind you in a place in which you were just lying around and waiting to die. Well, I am happy to say that this could not be further from the truth. I love it here. First of all, the place is immaculately clean. I mean House Keeping is always staffed and are on duty around the clock. Next, the food is excellent. We are offered a wide range for our meals and if you don’t happen to like what is on the printed menus an alternative is always available. Finally, is the staff. They nice, carting and professional. That goes all the way from the top with our chief Administor Chad Giampino, and all the way down, through the Maintenance Department, to the porters. Before I finish up, I’d like to give a shout out to Mordy Jurkowitz (our Assistant Adminisrtator). He is a real problem-solver and he pitches no matter what the task. 12/20/2024: Alameda Center has been nothing short of a blessing for me and my mother. Since I arrived on 07/24/24, the staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that both my mother and I received exceptional care. From the moment we arrived, the dedication and kindness of the staff were evident and made a significant difference in our lives. Coming from a place of previous negative experiences, Alameda Center has restored my faith in the quality of care a nursing home can provide. The entire team at the facility deserves praise, from housekeeping and maintenance to the administrative staff. The cleanliness of Alameda Center is second to none, and I can always count on housekeeping to keep my room spotless. The food here is great, with a variety of delicious and generous options. If you ever want more, the kitchen is more than happy to provide you with more. I cannot thank the owners and staff enough for providing such a safe and nurturing environment.
