Susy Murphy at Aging Well Eldercare was so helpful in the past with finding an assisted living facility for my mom! I had a great consultation with her when I was moving my mom from Florida to Maryland as I was so overwhelmed at trying to find a nearby facility within my mom's budget. My mom is so happy in her new place, and being so well taken care of - and she is her less than a 10 minute drive away is which is wonderful logistically. Susy also recommended an eldercare attorney for estate planning and an insurance agent, who I also used, and were great. I highly recommend anyone in Montgomery County who is struggling to find resources for their elderly parents to reach out to this organization!
I'd like to thank Aging Well Elder Care, especially Robin Udell for the outstanding job she did for my sister Sarah. She helped me navigate the long and difficult journey that my sister faced including dementia, multiple health issues, getting the best service from her assisted living care givers, multiple hospital and rehab stays and the final transition to Hospice. Sarah looked forward to Robins weekly visits and the friendship she developed with her. She helped Sarah find peace in her transition to assisted living and all the changes and struggles she had to face right up to the end. I will always be grateful to Robin!
Aging Well Elder care charged us an exorbitant amount of money for bad advice. The entire thing felt predatory. When my parents were at their most vulnerable and we were desperate for help, we reached out. Asked questions. The video appointment, I'll admit put us on three right path to use our LTC insurance, but they didn't need to spend almost 2 hours for such basic information without actually helping us do anything. And when my mom and I reached out for help on what rehab centers were good, and advice if we wanted to move states, they charged us nearly 150 to give a recommendation on a rehab center that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies and "information" I could have gotten from a simple Google search.
Susy Murphy and Aging Well Eldercare has been invaluable to me and my sister as we sought an assisted living facility for our father, who fell at the end of August and broke his right leg near his hip. Her advice not only on where he would continue his recovery and rehabilitation, but on his insurance options and related matters, has made all the difference the past couple of months. And as he looks forward to transitioning home following his stay with assisted living, we will once again turn to Susy and her team at Aging Well Eldercare!
