ARRT (aged care rapid response team) is the greatest aged care outreach service in the area, it's a public service and is a part of royal north shore hospital aged care department, they have senior aged care physicians as well as senior nursing staff, also they have a physiotherapist attached to their team, they assess and advice on community dwelling Geriatric patients who experience acute or subacute issues, they accept referrals from GPs, aged care facilities, families and carers, the service can organize Outpatient investigations such as blood tests and even simple imaging like xrays and mobile ultrasounds, if more advanced imaging is needed they could organise Outpatient CT scans as appropriate
