From the moment I first entered the home, I felt a warm, good feeling. Here, I could breathe. There was no smell of old, no smell of disinfectant. Here, I knew immediately that I could let my mother move in with a clear conscience. It's hard to describe, but compared to the nursing homes I've visited before, I felt the soul and heart of the home from the very beginning. Every employee, EVERYONE - whether in administration, reception, or the ward - always showed me a friendliness and helpfulness that is second to none... And that's not something to be taken for granted. They took and continue to take time for me, helped and help with any questions that arise, in a straightforward and constructive manner. Warm-hearted, loving, cheerful, and always ready for a personal conversation, never showing the stress that is certainly present - a great team works at the Agaplesion Home. I was absolutely overwhelmed—my sister and I decided we'd won the lottery when we entered the room on the 5th floor, with a beautiful balcony and a sweeping view into the distance over the rooftops to the west... From which you can enjoy the sunset over the Rhine plain. I'm happy and very grateful that we got this place for our mother. The hotel thrives on and with its wonderful staff, and I hope it stays that way for a long time to come.
After my request, I was able to get a consultation appointment with Ms. Grimmert at very short notice, was able to look around the house a little and met some of the residents and their carers. The atmosphere in the house was very friendly, and the way the carers treated the seniors seemed very loving to me. In a detailed conversation, all of my questions were answered competently and I was given numerous organizational tips that would be helpful for my relative's move -> Thank you very much for that! Unfortunately, only a two-bed room could be offered, which is not an option for my relative. That's why I deducted one point from the rating.
I recently had a relative in the dementia ward. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and loving care, as well as the openness toward me as a relative. The loving treatment touches me—and calms me. Beate Schlichting
