We moved our dad to Adelaide a few months ago from another Assisted Living facility. Adelaide is only a few years old and thoughtfully designed for the specific needs of the community. The rooms are beautiful, and the common areas filled with natural light. We especially like the cafe and the outdoor area. The management is very knowledgeable about the social, emotional and medical needs of those with memory issues. They are dedicated, compassionate and always willing to "think out of the box". The attentiveness we were given during the intake process did not stop once our dad moved in. We are greeted by name every time we visit, and various members of management are always happy to give an update on how our dad is doing. We feel our dad is living exactly where he needs to be at this stage in his life. The fact that our dad is safe and is treated with dignity and respect at Adelaide is priceless. Furthermore, we are grateful for the partnership we have with the team at Adelaide. This is a stark contrast to the difficulties we had at the Assisted Living community our dad had previously lived.

Adelaide of Newton Center memory care is one of the best around the center is beautiful. The programming is top-notch and the staff is very knowledgeable. You just got a great feeling the moment you walk in the door I wouldn’t hesitate to have a family member move in to Adelaide.
I’m using my husband’s account to write this review. My mother had a very difficult time last spring and we were so relieved she was able to join the community at Adelaide. The director is experienced, knowledgeable and professional, and the associates there working with my mother treat her with kindness, respect and compassion. They know her personality and share anecdotes about her with me, which makes such a difference. I have been extremely impressed with the attending physician there and the nursing staff, who provide excellent care, are proactive and very responsive. It is a huge relief to know they are looking out for my mother. The chef goes out of her way to please the residents with dishes they have requested. Every person working there is committed to giving the residents the best possible experience. I am so grateful that we found Adelaide at this point in my mother’s journey. Denise
When I saw Adelaide described as a luxury facility, I assumed that it would be unaffordable. In fact, Adelaide is less expensive than was the memory-care facility from which I moved my husband, and in every possible way, it's wonderful. The building is bright and beautiful. Especially impressive is the courtyard, where residents can enjoy time outdoors in a secure setting. Adelaide staff members communicate well with my husband and my family. I'm particularly grateful for the kindness, patience, and skill of Adrianna Alpaugh and Nick Boutourline. My husband is receiving the medical care he needs, and he is clean and well-groomed. At his previous facility, he never left his room. At Adelaide, he goes to the dining area for all three meals—a triumph!
Adelaide provided superb support for my partner after covid exacerbated his neurodegenerative diseases. The staff are kind, professional, and full of positive energy. They get to know each resident, showing a genuine interest in their life while respectfully meeting needs that are pretty disabling. Other reviews here cite individuals for their empathy and good humor. I would have to name everyone from the nursing staff to the cleaning crew. This is a great team doing a job they clearly enjoy. The building is lovely, full of sunlight and pleasant architectural design. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the laundry is remarkably well-tracked. (Only two socks lost!) The activities – oldies music, chair yoga, scenic outings – are appropriate for the residents. In our experience on the 1st floor, the residents are well groomed, escorted to eat in the dining room and encouraged to join group activities. Patience is never in short supply. To our relief, my partner has recovered considerably and has moved to a more social assisted living environment. The staff provided helpful encouragement in this scary transition. We will come back if we need Adelaide’s memory care again in the future.
