My dad moved in after my mom passed away. He has great food, plenty of men and women to talk to, and a lovely apartment with a balcony view of San Antonio. He has dinner with new friends, enjoys the music and company at “Thirsty Thursdays”, and uses the gym and on-site PT. We are so happy here.
My dad loooves Adante! The people who work there are so nice that I stay and have coffee with everyone in the morning and get to work late. I have not met anyone that works there that hasn't been a gem. Peter always has a smile and a plan, Jason, Memo, Samantha, Denise, Victoria, and well, everyone have been so kind and helpful and my dad feels like they are all his friends. Thanks for all you do.
We moved to the Adante cottages seven years ago and have loved it here. We have wonderful neighbors who are very active and helpful. The staff is excellent, caring, and attempts to meet our needs and provide the best of entertainment and activities. The staff works within their limitations to make our lives fulfilling and interesting. We are free to initiate activities if a need is there. Best place anyone would every want.
I moved into Adante almost four years ago. I can honestly say that in addition to saying yes to my husband 65 years ago, it has been the best decision I have ever made. After my husband passed away 6 years ago, I stayed in our home for two years. I lived in this neighborhood 55 years ago and didn’t want to move. But, taking care of a large home and big yard was more than I could handle. I also, didn’t like living alone. My husband and I watched Adante being built and knew some of the first residents to move in as they were our neighbors. We had discussed when and if the time came we felt we needed to downsize and sell our home, we would move to Adante which was around the corner from where we were living. After falling and breaking a hip, I decided it was time. I made an appointment with Dawn, took a tour and signed the papers that day. It is a decision I have never regretted. I have a lovely two bedroom apartment, have made some great new friends, the food that comes out of our kitchen can compete with any restaurant around here and there is an endless choice of activities daily to participate in. In closing, I can’t praise the Adante staff and associates enough. I highly recommend Adante!!
