My daughter currently goes to Active Day. We love the staff, the program, the inclusiveness. If for whatever reason I need to keep my daughter home...a lot of attitude, tears, pouty lip, eye rolling...even though she is nonverbal there is no doubt where she wants to be. That is her place. That is her peers.
My 87yr old Uncle Earl, who has dementia, has been attending Active Day for a few months now absolutely loves it. He's met several new friends and the staff treat him and our family so great. Thank you Active Day!
I love when I take public transportation stopping at this place because the people that our work here and the people that we pickup here are always so happy and humble and it brightens my day
