Nurse to patient radio isn't bad. The staff are very helpful and it's a clean building. The staff go above and beyond to help each other. The administration is excellent. One of the best nursing homes I've worked at. I hope i get my gift card. 😊

I like coming here. Everyone is always so nice, accommodating. First time for my husband, he so far had no complaints about anything, he definitely would have said if he wasn't happy. I'm hoping the staff is as helpful to my husband as they were when I was a patient!
This is a warning to anyone sending their loved one to Accela rehab/nursing home. My brother died here. He was only 44 years old. He got sick at this facility. I begged them to send him to the hospital 3 days in a row. I begged the nurses and the head of the staff. They told me he wasn’t ill enough to go to the hospital. He was diabetic and didn’t eat for a week. At the end of the week they sent him to the hospital in critical condition. My brother passed away. I can’t even describe the trauma my family and I are going through at this time. All because this facility doesn’t know how to properly care for a patient. Please don’t send your family member here. I wouldn’t send a dog here. Be aware.
My mom died because of this nursing home she went on getting sepis he never told me just drop her off to the hospital and left her there never called me or anything she died at the hospital alone the nursing home knew she passed and never told me you guys should be shut down you guys shouldn't even have a job and then when I talk to the doctor at Jefferson she told me they would have got her to the hospital sooner she wouldn't have died on she had bed sores thanks for causing my family this pain now you're giving me a runaround about her belongings what it looks like I'll be suing you guys if you have a loved one there take your loved one out of there I don't want to same to happen to your loved one they shouldn't even be in business
I don't quite understand why calls are not returned but I must say I am very satisfied with my Family members care. The overall staff is friendly and the CNA staff I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with are great. 😊 Overall Accela Somerton is a nice spot.🥰 When I visit I pay attention to maintenance cleanliness and how residents are treated and taken care of. I give them a B grade. Once an advocate, Always an advocate. 😇
