I cannot express enough how incredible Abode Care of Allentown has been for our family! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with open arms, and it truly felt like a home away from home for our loved one. The staff is not only professional but incredibly compassionate, taking the time to build meaningful relationships with each resident. It’s clear they are committed to providing the best care possible. The community is beautiful, with clean and spacious living areas, as well as plenty of activities to keep everyone engaged. My family member has truly blossomed since moving in, and we’re so grateful for the peace of mind knowing they’re in such caring hands. If you are looking for a place that combines warmth, professionalism, and outstanding care, I highly recommend Abode. It’s been a wonderful experience, and I feel truly blessed that our loved one is part of this incredible community!

Looking at places for my Mom and decided to stop by Abode Care. I was greeted by a friendly face which was nice. I then asked for the Director and meet the Executive Director who put all my fears to rest. I would only trust my Mom to stay at Abode Care of Allentown because of this compassionate human!
This place is the worst place for elders; my cousin lived there; they had broken air conditioning in the summer, the medical staff don’t even know the conditions of the people staying there. They confused her name one time with another person’s The orderly didn’t even understand the medical words I used. This place is like jail for old people, it’s old / rundown and problems with the rooms, and the people that work there , are stupid and don’t understand your complaints, After my cousin cried to me how she felt the place was just taking her money, and her health deteriorated, we decided to remove her. Once we moved her to a diff place, we realized that the awful staff , who don’t even know medical information , and didn’t properly care for her and just basically billed , overlooked her deteriorating diabetic situation, and once we got her into a proper place; her health, her vitality and happiness was restored! Run for the hills!! Don’t send your family there; it’s a stairway to hell! The staff are the worst; the place is run down, and it is prison for old people. Disorganized and could have caused my cousin to pass before her time. Run! Don’t send your family there , if you want them to enjoy the rest of their lives, it’s a death camp! The worst place in Lehigh valley! Several doctors also warned us to not go there , and now we know why! Abode Care should be closed. It almost killed my beloved cousin.
Out of many places you can bring your loved ones this is one place where I can confidently say they will be taken care of properly and effectively. The care team here is highly experienced and they treat every resident as if they were their own family. ❤️
