She never wanted to leave home but I just was no longer able to provide her with the kind of care she needed and deserved. The staff and residents of Abbington of Arlington provided her with a quality of life she would not have had while living at home. The facility offers so many varied activities and although nobody is forced to do anything, they encourage the residents to join in and they make it fun if they do. The staff not only provides for the necessities of life but treats the residents as if they are their family. They offer loving care to each and every person. And family members are always welcomed and encouraged to join in with the activities. I can't say enough good things about Abbington of Arlington and if the time comes when I need assisted livimg, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. If you or your family needs a place to call home, this is it.

Hands down the absolute best place! Madison,LaToya, Kristina, Kayla, Tracey and all of the amazing crew at Abbington have been nothing but welcoming to not only my grandma but to me! I have seen my grandma find her sparkle again, she is excited about life and is making friends. I am so incredibly appreciative of every single one of the amazing people at Abbington and if you are looking for somewhere that will give your loved ones care and respect this is the place to go!
Abbington's strength is its staff and its residents. The aides are all kind, friendly, compassionate people who care about the residents they interact with. The residents have created a warm, welcoming community where people look out for one another. Madison and LaToya are continuing to make decisions so that Abbington of Arlington is a place where people choose to be. It's a place where I chose to be during a one-month stay, and I'm glad that's the choice I made. If you want a setting that is more like a neighborhood apartment complex or dorm staffed with 24 hour nursing and support help instead of an institutional corporate hospital setting, go with Abbington of Arlington!
My mom recently spent two weeks for respite care at the Abbington of Arlington. I had a great experience working with The Executive Director, Madison Adkins, to expedite Mom’s registration. Move-in was smooth, and everybody was very welcoming. With it being respite care, we had to bring linens and any medical support equipment, such as a walker and wheelchair. Otherwise the room was furnished, clean, and well-maintained. Mom has a very limited diet, but I had the opportunity to taste the food and it was excellent. Some of the best meatloaf I’ve had. I will certainly look to the Abbington of Arlington again for our next respite or long-term care needs.
Nobody wants to leave their home but if you need to because of health issues or the fear of being alone or you just can’t stay by yourself, then Abbington of Arlington is the place to come staff is great. Our activity director dot lots of fun stuff with us, going out to lunch and everyone’s favorite bingo 3times a week Our executive director is also awesome and will do whatever she can to make you happy our cooks are excellent come on you get your room cleaned and your laundry finished every week and you don’t have to lift a finger please come and check it out if you ever need an assistant living. Ask foy Debbie I will always make you feel comfortable and go out of my way to help you!!
