10 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420, United States
10 Wilmington is top shelf. My mother has lived there for 2 years. Their entire staff is very outgoing and friendly. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained. The activities they provide for their residents is second to none. There is something going on all the time and with the variety of events, there is something for everyone. They go above and beyond to ensure their residents have a great quality of life.

My husband and I moved into independent living in 2019. If I could describe 10 Wilmington in one word it would homey. Our favorite part of 10WP is the Patterson room that is so versatile and used for many wonderful activities. The Grand Oaks Dining Room is very elegant. It is very close to all of our needs outside the building and we feel very safe and comfortable here knowing that if either of our needs progress we can stay at 10 Wilmington. Residents here are very friendly and welcoming, many nice places to sit and have a chat. If we notice something wrong with anything it is fixed almost instantaneously! Management is always willing to jump in and help during an emergency, and support their staff. Mike and Dave in the maintenance department are always prompt to fix any maintenance issues in our apartment or around the building. Lauren is very tech savvy and responsive to our calls for help whether it be our TV phones or computer. She educates as she fixes so we are able to learn about our technology. Overall we are very happy that we are here at 10 Wilmington Place and think everyone should check it out!
When I decided to move into an Independent Living facility my granddaughter went to see 10 Wilmington Place. She told me that I would like this place because of the beautiful building and the verdant grounds . She was right I really enjoy living here. I've only been here for 5 months but everyone has been so welcoming. most of staff knew my name as soon as I moved in. I so enjoy the friendships, the music events, exercise programs, art activities, writing and reader's group. The only thing I do not like is the dining. Last week we had coleslaw, cabbage rolls, and buttered cabbage at the same meal. The meat, fish and chicken are so dry and tastless The cakes are dry. and we can't always get the ice cream I like..
My husband, Leo, and I have lived at 10 Wilmington Place almost eight years. We have found the staff exceptional. They clearly strive to see that the residents have what they need and they provide a host of activities so we can be as active as we want to be. Or, we can be inactive if we choose. The residents here are from all walks of life which makes it even more interesting. Both Leo and I are happy here and are glad we made the move while we still could. Nova Roche, Resident
I have been a resident here for about 7 months. I like that so many of the staff and residents are so friendly! there is a wide range of activities from bible study to yoga and craft classes. the food may not top notch and overseasoned. There aren’t many options at dinner and they will have multiple menu items featuring the same main ingredients (cabbage and potatoes are frequent repeats). there are many blends of vegetables offered but seem to be almost identical. Dining room staff can be forgetful in getting additional condiments when asked for them. Overall I’m happy to call 10 Wilmington Place home.
