My mother was a resident at Wyndham Manor for 6 years. During those years she was provided with companionate care, respect and empathy. The staff treat you as family and they are a wonderful team that take pride in providing wonderful care. Of course there were special ones and they know who they are and we as a family are forever grateful that our mother was in great care during a very difficult time.

This is just a gentle reminder for those posting reviews on LTC homes. Plz vsit 5 or 6 homes before you choose to harshly rate one and don't harshly rate based on a short one-time visit. Everybody has bad days including you; our state of mind and our biases very much affect the experiences we have. There may be no home we visit that doesn't raise some questions about the care. Visit routinely and spontaneously so you are in a position to draw the home's attention to possible significant in care.
The is one of the better long term care homes I have visited. I would recommend.
It was clear during my tour that there is a supportive respectful philosophy about all residents. There is very creative inspiring dementia care that celebrates the cognitive and emotional abilities of dementia patients wherever they are in their challenging journeys.
I just had a tour and I can’t stress enough that if you bring your loved one here they won’t make it. I had to call several times just to book the tour, once here there was no one at reception. The young social worker rushed us through a couple of rooms and with a condescending attitude. It felt that the residents are here just to finish their days and not to live their final days.
