We went here to set up balloons and flowers for a birthday and anniversary party. It felt like a posh hotel with loads of happy residents sitting at the restaurant area. It was absolutely buzzing with activity and many happy people. It's definitely got me thinking that this may be the place for me and hubby when we retire!

Thursday evenings there is always dancing and musical entertainment, a live band the majority of the time, reserved parking and dancing lessons. Roomy, comfortable, bar and seating.
Visited friends there. What a lovely place with a great atmosphere and good facilities. Very modern, clean and welcoming.
Looks like a lovely pace, everyone seemed happy, had a wide range of services, gym, craft room, bistro (prices a little higher than expected), had a shop, books, and an area for entertainment. The only thing it doesn't appear to have is hot tub facilities or a swimming pool, it was a lovely and bright welcoming lobby. When I get to retirement age I hope I can retire to a place similar to this, nearer to the seaside.
I don't know what the fuss was about but whatever it was, I would say that is definitely in the past. this place has definitely moved on. Am super impressed. It's the best retirement home village I've ever been in. Buckingham Palace, that's what my friend Peter called it! And to the management, whoever you are, I say Keep up the good standard and let Wixams be great
