A large newish , colorful presence in a community of brown new builds. Staff are friendly. It's atmosphere is clinical feeling and is modern. Beige walls, neutral flooring.... Programming is creative and open to community members, only if they have good transportation. This is a challenge and unavailable for those citizens living in a rural area within an hour of Whitehorse. Hopefully, with the new funding agreement, many services can accommodate some rural senior's needs so they can access this place.

My friend was in palliative care for a brain tumour. The staff were very friendly. The facility was clean and they decorated the common areas for holidays nicely. During COVID-19 the staff followed all precautions as needed very well.
Great facility for seniors and people who need assistance. Cost is around $1200 a month which is unbelievably good compared to cars homes in BC.
Whistlebend Place is where I want to be if I need to be in a LTC facility. The staff are incredible. The building is amazing. Yukon Continuing Care has a great attitude towards the process of aging, and the respect given to the residents is heart-warming.
This place is terrible my mom was sent to hospital they don’t care about what goes on and sent her there barely alive no one accountable what is going to happen to improve this ???
