Walden Circle Retirement Community is truly exceptional. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff are incredibly attentive and compassionate, always going above and beyond to ensure the residents are comfortable and well taken care of. One staff member who particularly stands out is Amilia Azzopardi. Her dedication to the residents is truly remarkable. She not only attends to their physical needs with expertise and care but also takes the time to connect with them on a personal level. Her genuine kindness and compassion brighten the days of everyone around her. The facilities at Walden Circle are top-notch, with spacious and beautifully decorated living spaces, a range of amenities to suit every interest, and delicious, nutritious meals prepared onsite. The activities and programs offered cater to a variety of interests and abilities, ensuring that there's always something engaging for residents to participate in. Overall, Walden Circle Retirement Community exceeds expectations in every way possible. It's a place where residents can truly thrive and enjoy their golden years with dignity and joy. Amelia and the entire staff are shining examples of what makes this retirement home so special.
I can't say enough wonderful things about my recent experience with Walden Circle Retirement Community. I viewed the residence back in the fall but we weren't ready to commit to anything at the time. Amilia keep in touch periodically without being pushy, which I appreciated! When we made our decision to choose Walden Circle Amilia was so accommodating answering all of my questions and giving me all the necessary information to make the move effortless and seamless. Moving in was a wonderful experience.... the staff was welcoming and supportive. Saed is in charge of various maintenance issues, He was AMAZING during the move going over and above to make sure the suite was 100% perfect!! Everyone has been very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We are so grateful for the experience thus far and know that we made the best choice with Walden Circle Retirement. Community.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Walden Circle Retirement centre. My father recently had heart surgery and we were looking for respite care as we live out of town and thought this would be the best option for his recovery. Amilia was my first point of contact and she was amazing- gave me her cell number and answered all of my questions, while being so patient and understanding. She is such a genuine and kind soul and I’m so happy to have met her. We toured 4 retirement centres in Mississauga and from our first meeting at Walden I immediately felt at ease because the facility was bright, impeccably clean and every staff member was so friendly and courteous. The residents I met seemed very happy and social (unlike other facilities we had toured). Amilia was so welcoming and accommodating and made the process of having my father stay in respite so much easier. She went so far as to have a cot brought up and ready for me so when I visited I was comfortable. She also ensured we knew about tray services and other services should my father need additional support. From the PSW’s to the nurses, to the front concierge Cheri, to the culinary coordinator Gabriela- everyone works as a team and that’s evident with how the facility is maintained. Every staff member took the time to actually talk to my dad and make it know that they are here for him and welcomed him to ask questions and give feedback at any point to ensure he had a comfortable stay. I can’t believe how clean this facility was! My father stayed for a month and even took part in the social activities like Jeopardy, trivia and more (even though he was the youngest at 69 he enjoyed it because everyone was having fun and the staff facilitating the activities was energetic and friendly). He enjoyed playing piano in the lounge and I think having a bright, clean and friendly environment really helped him as his body and mind were healing from surgery. I joined my father for lunch and dinner some days and the food was fantastic ! Loved how it felt like an actual home and not just a retirement centre. You can tell the pride and dedication that the staff have. Even the Fall decor was evident- pumpkins, fresh flowers on the dining room tables every day, beautiful fall decor- so tasteful and classy. I loved how hospitable the dining staff was, from Diana, to all of the dining servers. They were all so friendly to me. My friends and I said we would love to retire here one day because the residents there were so happy. Thank you so much to everyone that we met and that cared so well for my dad- every single person I met was so warm, friendly and hospitable. If you are looking for independent or assisted living, I strongly encourage you to tour the facility and speak to the staff. If you’re considering Walden Circle, you will immediately see how wonderful this community is from your first visit.
I am happy to share our recent experience and most importantly my mother's experience with the Walden Circle Retirement Community Team and their ability to assist my mother in transitioning to a new, safe, and relaxed lifestyle. A thank you goes out to the entire team in making the transition easier, but a special thanks goes to Amilia as she has been there every step of the way and made my mother feel like a part of the community allowing her to understand and make the right decision. It comforts us to know that our mother is in a safe, first class retirement community with great dining, a great social environment, and to top it all off, a very professional and friendly staff.
