To the wonderful staff at Casa G&G, Villa Colombo, Vaughan. Our mother, Nonna, Bis-Nonna Maria Rosa Augurusa was in your care for many years, and sadly, she passed away on October 13th, 2024. On behalf of our entire family we want to extend our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming support, love, and compassion you’ve shown her throughout her time with you. To the Nurses, PSWs, Care workers your care was around the clock, and it was evident how much you truly loved and cared for her. She was always happy and grateful. We believe she lived so much longer because of the way you treated her—with so much love and kindness. To the amazing Activity Team who encouraged Nonna to play games, make beautiful art, sing, and enjoy live music in the auditorium, and even have her espresso breaks throughout the day, we cannot thank you enough. Even during the toughest times, like the Covid pandemic, you all made sure we stayed connected with daily FaceTime calls. You always went above and beyond, and it meant the world to us. Nonna had nicknames for all of you, and those memories will stay with us forever. Sister Julia , how could we ever thank you enough for keeping her faith alive! Your prayer visits, saying the rosary with her, and preparing her to be closer to God was a blessing to her and us. The final ceremony and last rites, along with the songs you played and sang so beautifully, brought us such peace. We will forever be grateful for you. To her hairstylist, thank you for making her feel so beautiful. She always looked forward to your visits and especially your friendship. To her doctor , thank you for always listening to our requests and suggesting the best care options for our mother . Your belief in us—that we always wanted the best for her—made all the difference. You supported us every step of the way, and we will never forget your kindness and guidance. During the most difficult times, you all provided not only comfort for her, but also comfort for us. Thank you for the beautiful farewell exit after her passing, it was fit for a queen. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being angels on earth with hearts of gold. We wish you all the best, we will miss you. 💕 Saveria & Margherita And family

I went for a tour there in March 2023 as I had to put forward our selection list of homes to the Central Health co-ordinator to be put on a waiting list of homes. The building and grounds are very nice. But the staff is rude, cold, disinterested. If you take a look around at the residents they are not happy. No one is happy in this place. I do not know why there is a waiting list of 1200 people to get in. I would steer clear.
My mother was at Villa Colombo for 7 years and I not only visited often, but was on the Family Council for 2 and a half of those years. In all my dealings with the home, I found the staff to be professional, caring and so helpful in answering my many questions about my mother's care. I was always directed to the person who best to answer my questions and much was resolved in a short matter of time. I would highly recommend this nursing facility to anyone looking for a wonderful place for their loved one.
The worst staff ever , everybody there is so rude they don’t even know how to talk . I have got worst experience of my life, never ever want to work again there.
I was a placement student here, in the Cicollini casa. And honestly. I had an amazing time, the staff and residents were amazing. I learned so much, the 7 am crew; Yvette, Sonia, Amirt, Mary, Cleoion, mila, Ravindra were absolutely gems! They took the time to teach me how to care for the residents and the importance of what is what. I constantly felt appreciated. Thank you for teaching me the role of a PSW. And being so patient! Y’all are the best! Shoutout to my preceptor yevette for being such a great role model. You taught me so much even outside the PSW role. You made me grow so much as a person as well! Thank you
