Great place to work, management are fair, compassionate & flexible.
Holland Garden is like my home, I'm happy to work and help with our resident, they are like a family. And the staff are great we are all like a brother and sister, we are helping each other if your need help, and the management are always available when you need it. We have lots of exciting events to our resident and the for staff. Even my daughter she come and see where i work and she is 9 years old like to do the volunteer to play some games (Bingo, coloring) and sing together with our resident. I can recommend to everyone whos looking for work Holland Garden Retirement Home is the the best place to work, and for the senior who's looking for place to be there home.
Lake Bonavista Village My Dad moved into Lake Bonavista Village in December 2021 after living in his own home since 1964. It was such a huge move and yet, he picked the best place to move to. From our very first meeting with Shannon, my Dad felt welcome. On our tour of the facility, residents unsolicited asked if he was thinking of moving in. When he said yes, they all shared how much they loved living there and how well they were taken care of. They told him he would not regret moving there and they were right. Everyone, from the front reception to the dining room (and Bistro) as well as the nursing team treated my Dad (and me) as family. They knew our names and knew what my Dad liked to do and made sure he was ok, every single day. Unfortunately, my Dad only lived there for 8 months as he passed away in August 2022. Yet I am grateful for the love and kindness that everyone at Lake Bonavista Village gave him while he was there. Thank you to everyone who cared for my Dad. Elizabeth Scott
