Had no idea what to expect but we found a real gem, even in January. The greenhouses were interesting to explore, we enjoyed the landscaped areas, and we took a short walk through the woods but believe there was much more to see. Would love to come when more plants are in bloom. We chatted with the staff member who grows the orchids - every staff member and volunteer we met were so friendly and full of knowledge. Thank you!
We went here expecting a large garden display, but it wasn't. That said it was free to enter and the forest area is a lovely walk. I wasn't certain why but it seemed like it wasn't open, or a working progress. Certainly worth a visit, but at the moment you'll only spend a short time there.
Went to the fungi foray. Well attended and organised. I learnt so much from this event . The curator is so charismatic and Nigel Brown was so knowledgeable and capturing in the way he described and gave information on each mushroom. Can't wait for the next event and exploring the gardens.
Part of a trip with university. Absolutely gorgeous, swathes of beautiful grass, tree's and flowers. Several plants for sale too, could easily spend more but only had room for the 3 I got. Definitely recommend
