I moved my mother into the assisted living side of the Wellesley for 2 years: Sep 2022 to Nov 2024. The staff were amazing/caring/knowledgeable and well trained, the meals were healthy and varied, with lots of daily activities, the buildings were always well maintained/clean, and the residents were wonderful. 10 out of 10.

The Wellesley is an important residence for many senior reasons. The rooms are spacious and bright. The common halls are wide and the building has great ambience. With many meeting areas and recreational activities, ease of location to everything, the folks that we move here are very happy to know they can rest assured that they are good hands. Great food and central location adds to the value of its charm. Fun fact. - gardens are maintained by staff that like to garden, and it shows. Well done.
I recently toured The Wellesley with my parents who are looking for a supported (social)style of independent living. Care is not an issue at this time but who knows what the future may bring. We were very impressed with the interior decor, cleanliness and ambiance. There are ample areas for social activities and residents and staff appear happy. The suites are large and bright. They did not ultimately choose The Wellesley and the major deciding factor was the location. The down side is the busy area and local scenery. My parents want a more quiet setting with walking trails nearby. Sharon Unsworth, the Community Relations Coordinator, was most helpful and very thorough in her knowledge of The Wellesley. Definitely a place to visit if looking for a secure, supportive apartment lifestyle for independent seniors with a downtown location. Alison Jones
Recently, I had the opportunity to take a tour and enjoy lunch at The Wellesley. I was quite impressed by exceptional level of accommodation and sense of community. The staff seem really sincere and to go above and beyond for the guests. I would definitely recommend this facility.
