The long-term care facility is excellent, but the staff is disappointing. Cherish, a PSW, lacks proper communication skills and acts as if she runs the place, even though she doesn’t. Despite working there for eight years, she still doesn’t know how to interact respectfully. It’s unfortunate that individuals like her are employed in long-term care without the ability to communicate properly.

The staff are friendly and attentive to resident needs and are always willing to go the extra mile to make a residents day. The leadership team is highly approachable, encourages a positive environment, and always willing to listen to feedback from team and visitors.
We are so happy our Mother is staying at Winston Park. The staff are professional and so friendly. The facility is perfect for her needs.
I just wanted to thank the staff at Winston Park for their assistance and sincere kindness toward my Mother during her final days in Memory Care. My Mom was cared for around the clock and when we did have to leave her side for any period of time, we knew she was in good hands. Thank you also to the palliative care nurses that helped Mom make her final transition of life.
One of the best retirement homes in Kitchener. The staff is very supportive. They provide the best care to the residents and everyone supports each other .
