It was a slow process to register and I am familiar with computers, others may have more challenges. I downloaded the mobile app as suggested and attempted to obtain a QR code. The site was unable to send the verification text that was needed to access the QR code. I subsequently spoke with staff and they said the vendor was aware and it might be fixed next week and to try again then. There is no signage at the check in area to inform anyone that there is an issue with the app. I am not impressed with the process at this point. The bugs should have been worked out before this system was implemented. I think many will just ignore it and walk on by. No one seems to monitor the sign in area.

The village of Erin Meadows is a wonderful place for your loved ones to receive care. The staff are friendly, supportive and really want to do what is best for each client with the limited resources available. Being in healthcare, you don’t often hear positive situations only the harsh -ones. Those negative events are often very few events but travel through the rumour mill very quickly and last a long time. I would like to share that having both my parents in long-term care at this Location has had its ups and downs as we navigate as a team for their care, but that no system is perfect and it takes a village to make things better. This organization is very open to family involvement and Solutions to complaints for change. I would like to take this time to bring forward and to acknowledge the staff, physicians, Leadership, and volunteers for their hard work and dedication to Providing this care for our loved ones. Thank you, staff Of the village of Erin Meadows The McGivern Family
Nice and peaceful place to have dinner. Mandeep was our server, very sweet and polite girl.she served us the dinner with very welcoming smile on her face. Really felt the feeling of atithi devo bhava.
Somebody I know was placed here. Because he wasn't cleaned properly by the staff, he got an severe e Coli infection, one he never recovered from. May he RIP. I'd stay away from this place but if you don't have a choice, make sure your loved ones are being cared for properly.
Somethings never change here despite the calls to action. Be vigilant that you are not billed for services not rendered. It is interesting how they say they have staff trained in memory care and operate under the philosophy of "living in my today". I urge you to ask, and get in writing, what "training" means, I think you may be disappointed in the criteria that it takes to work there. While there are a few good ones the majority of the staff can barely converse in English and have minimal ability to assist elderly people with memory care needs. It is quite concerning. To rate this location a 3 represents a good day. While there are some staff that are kind and wonderful I caution you to ensure your loved ones have cameras in their rooms if they are in need of memory or extended care. Sadly, it is necessary to ensure that strangers do not enter the rooms of loved ones in the night or even in the day if the room is vacant. It is also necessary for families to monitor for falls or mobility limitations as calls for help take a long time to be responded to if you can get through. The phones are often not answered and if you are calling for your loved one to get them help you may have to dial 911. Be prepared to give a lot of time to monitor the service levels you pay for. The videos, if I were to post, can be disturbing.
