The best views of the city by far!! Elegant atmosphere, very large tables and spacious dining area so plenty of room, esp. if customers need to come in by wheelchair, walker, etc. Limited menu, very limited hours, but good food. Service was spotty considering how unbusy it was but kind and apologetic for missed requests. Would definitely come back. Prices reasonable considering the views of the skyline (no other restaurant in KW offers this, that I know of), facility is very clean. Need to ask for directions once inside the Retirement Home as it's on the top floor and elevators are not by front entrance. Plenty of parking. Update: I came back here with family in March 2025 and the food was great! It's hard to make a reservation on the phone but they do return your calls eventually. If you are not a large group, take a chance to pop in and dine.
The Ruby Restaurant is located on the 10th floor and has an incredible view. We all enjoyed our lunches. Salads are fresh and tasty, fish and chips were excellent and desserts delicious. Our waitress was excellent and the Chef came to introduce himself. I liked the fact that we were able to chat with one another in a relaxed setting and hear one another! Cocktails, wine and beer available and other non-alcoholic drinks. There is handicap parking. Everyone was so friendly here.
Beautiful common spaces, lots of organized activities. They are taking great care of my father-in-law. And the Ruby (the restaurant on the top floor) is a nice added bonus.
The very positive vibes all over this Retirement home! I have had this amazing opportunity to visit once per month for a while now and all I can say is I really absolutely LOVE everything ie; the staff , the very happy residents, the food (I hear is great wish to try someday ..smiles) and just the cleanliness and of course how it always feels so warm and welcoming. I wish to extend my gratitude to the very wonderful and friendly Noah (activity manager) ! Thank you Noah for letting me and my helper in and always with a warm smile! Have always noticed him how he genuinely care and hearing the folks with a wanting to help attitude. Highly recommend this place to call home!
