This place was incredible. The care and love the staff gave our mother was the best. They were angels with so much compassion. The Villa Care Center was always very clean and bright. There were always activities every day for the residents, including sometimes, the staff dancing to music or singing sometimes while the residents were dining. We will always be forever thankful to the Villa Care Center for their care.

0 stars - although the place looks nice it is terrifying what goes on here. They left my family member to die with out giving them basic care (cleaned, fed, medicated) all because they who has dementia “said no”.. My family member deteriorated within just a couple months of being in this place to the point we think he had maybe only hours left to live .. many calls were placed and emails sent pleading for help with them either refusing or emails unanswered. Luckily we were able to get our family member out of here in time and transferred to a different home (new home was in dismay with the condition our family member was in and sent him to the hospital on his arrival where he spent almost a month recovering) … fast forward to today.. he is well taken care of and thriving .. The disgusting mess this place left him in all cleared up.. He eats again, talks, laughs, jokes, is no longer in pain and is happy! Villa Care centre maybe suitable for someone who is still independent enough to care for themselves however if your family member requires basic help to survive I would not recommend this home.
So many design flaws. Rooms are divided in a way that only one person gets the window rather than building the rooms so each person gets half the window on their side. Rooms should have been made wider instead of longer to do this. The entrance to my grandmothers floor enters right into the dining room. We didn’t know this and walked in on everyone eating their lunch. This seems very rude and disruptive. There’s a huge lack of visual supports for people with memory issues. Place feels way too much like a cold hospital. Not enough things out for individuals to keep themselves busy. Lots of just sitting and wandering with little guidance. So far not impressed with this place.
We have had nothing but positive experiences at the Villa. We are pleased with all aspects of care, food, activities, staff, and administration. The new building is beautiful. I feel grateful my loved one is in your care. Thank you.
