We had a pleasant stay at The Ridge Residence, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, offering everything you need to start the day, without any unnecessary luxuries. For the price, the quality and overall experience were fantastic, making it a great value for money. We definitely recommend The Ridge Residence for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay.

This hotel is nice for a one-night stay only as it’s not far from the port and the airport. Rooms are simple but efficient, with enough space in the bedroom and bathroom. We also had a balcony with a great view. There’s a very small swimming pool but it’s nice because it’s open 24 hours and it’s good to refresh. The location is not great if you want to walk around as it’s on a hill and coming back up is very tiring + dangerous because there’s no public lighting, also it’s not safe to walk alone. Taxis arranged by the hotel are very expensive, they said it would cost €20 to go to Victoria for a 6min drive or to the port but we got public transport to city centre for a fraction of the price. We paid 20 euro for a 4 days travel card unlimited bus rides around mahe and praslin. Breakfast was okay ish and the bathroom drains are not working properly need to be fixed.
Stayed here for a 1 week on a work trip in July 2024. Location wise it was good as the meeting place was not far. Rooms are clean. Good service and competence from the staff especially Umesh and Jamelah. Met the owner Mr Adrienne. Food was generally ok. Convenience stores (shops) are walking distance from the hotel. The nearby steets are steeply sloped so walking for some may be difficult. There is a view point nearby however foot path going uphill is non existent.
I stayed here for one night before I went on a cruise and Jamilla the receptionist was SOOOO nice. She accommodated me and my husband so well and I just want to thank her so much. The place itself is beautiful. Nice view. Rooms are nice and clean and they have a beautiful buffet dinner and breakfast! Thanks so much Jamilla!
Lovely boutique hotel situated in close proximity to the airport (about 10mins drive) with a panaromic view of the town below. Awesome deck with infinity style plunge pool where u can enjoy the views with a couple of beers. Nice breakfast (the banana jam is a winner!) and super friendly staff & host!
