Mango House Seychelles is the epitome of tropical luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the breathtaking beauty of the crystal-clear turquoise waters, lush greenery, and endless ocean views. The rooms at Mango House are a masterclass in comfort and style. Interiors blend tactile, earthy materials and custom-designed fixtures, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both luxurious and authentically Seychellois. What truly sets Mango House apart is the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, and as a Hilton Diamond member, I was genuinely impressed by the recognition and thoughtful touches throughout my stay. From the warm welcome amenities to the early check-in and late check-out, the team’s attention to detail was outstanding A heartfelt thank you to Anna and Maria for their warm hospitality and for always anticipating our needs with a smile. Rittika and Monette from housekeeping ensured our room was immaculate and comfortable every day, adding those extra touches that made us feel at home. Sharifa was incredibly helpful with in-room dining, making every meal effortless and enjoyable, especially since we had our 1 year old son with us. Dining at Mango House is a true delight. Chef Suresh deserves special mention for his creativity and care-he crafted delicious, custom meals for our baby, ensuring every dietary preference was catered to with skill and warmth. Every dish, from breakfast to dinner, was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, making each meal a highlight of our stay.
*A Big Thank You to Teresita!* I just wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for Teresita, who made our stay here an unforgettable experience. She is probably the manager of the hotel, and throughout our time here, she took exceptional care of us. Every request we had was met with kindness, availability, and a warm attitude. Not only did she assist us with any questions, but she also managed to arrange unique activities and events that we wouldn’t have been able to find elsewhere. She truly made our stay special, and her service went above and beyond all expectations. Thank you so much, Teresita! We truly appreciate all your help and care!
I am glad to have stayed for only one night in this hotel. The level of service is completely unacceptable for the rate they charge. Just because the rooms and surroundings are nice this should not allow them to get away with neglecting their customers. The fundamental issue is that the property is completely mismanged with the clear intention of minimizing cost while extracting the most value from guests. Management is careless and their presence feels almosts non existant. Some front line employees were doing their best but the team is severely understaffed and seems lost in the attempt to the address more demands than they can handle and without supervision. When we arrived we almost had to make an effort for being greeted and helped with our bags. If you are a platinum Amex cardholder forget about your benefits. The front desk manager avoided mentioning the benefits and when I inquired about the early check in and room upgrade she took a while to respod "im sorry im afraid we are fully occupied". They told us check in would be at 2.00pm at the latest per the hotel policy but the time came and nobody bothered to look for us. We had to go to reception three times to remind them and finally were taken to the room 30 minutes late. We tried getting snorkeling gear at the activities post but there was no one to be seen. We had to ask the barman for help which was the only visible person. Turns out there were no masks as they were "all being used". A waiter from the restaurant finally helped us finding masks after much effort. Her name is Stephanie and she was very attentive and friendly but a clear victim of the operational chaos. At the Muse restaurant at dinner we ordered a Tuna tartar as starter which after both my partner gave it a try, exchanged looks of how terrible it was. The fish was full of ice as if it had just been pulled out of a freezer, horribly cut and tasted completely off. We returned the dish but they still included it in the check and removed it only after we complained. Later we tried to use the 24/7 in room dining at 9pm but were responded with "Let me check" and hang up only to receive a follow up call more than 1 hour later to take our order. Finally the icing on the cake was when the bill was printed at check out they "forgot" to include the Amex US$100 F&B credit. A 5 star hotel that charges +$500 per night should deliver excellence across every single criteria and not just sit down on a nice view and infrastructure. I do not recommend this hotel especially for people looking to celebrate special occasions like a honey moon as your experience will be soured by this managerial tragedy. All of this happened in one night and cant imagine what a longer stay would be like.
On a little hill, this exquisite boutique hotel is located near Elisabeth bay. It is very beautiful with lush greenery and vast rooms and a perfect service from a kind polite and smiling staff members. Starting from the efficient Tess- the duty manager, Stephan- the person in charge of the restaurants, the lovely Anna- our food server, and of course Motadela- the head chef. Everyone does their best and with a smile and a good attitude. I highly recommend the place for a nice relaxing vacation.
