My dad needed a nursing home for his remaining time. He moved into The Red House and my mum and I are very happy with the wonderful care he received during his short stay. All the staff were professional, caring, helpful and friendly and this continued after dad passed away there recently. We cannot fault anything and nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend The Red House.

Home from home, the management and staff are excellent, they treat the people with respect and dignity, they treat the patients as if in there living in there own home. I have put 2 people in this nursing home and been very impressed with the professional service given by all the staff and management, very well run and relaxed working environment. I recommend it. If l needed a nursing home then it's here l would like to go to.
My Mother had a major stroke last year at the age of 91. Her partner and the rest of our family had to find a care home for her as she requires 24/7 care. We were so lucky to find her a space at Red House, the staff and management have been brilliant. One of the telling factors is that the staff have mostly been there a long time so everyone knows each other and all their residents. My Mother is progressing well, managing self feeding, use of t.v.control and regaining more speech, cannot thank the staff enough for all their efforts.
My elderly mother-in-law has often been very difficult and from previous respite care experiences we dreaded finding her a permanent nursing home. Nothing had ever been right so we put this off until it became evident it was essential for her to be looked after 24/7. We were recommended the Red House and right from my initial contact it was evident that this was a nursing home that truly cared about their residents. At all times we are kept up to date on my mother-in-laws well-being and every effort has been made that we can still visit her ‘pod style’ during the pandemic. The staff always make us feel welcome and nothing seems too much trouble It is clear that she is very happy, well looked after and safe where she is and that is the most important thing for us. We have spent many years worrying about her and only wished we have moved her to the Red House sooner. I would highly recommend the Red House to anyone looking for a nursing home for their elderly parent. By a very grateful daughter-in-law
i visited The Red house nursing with a friend who went to see their aunty and i was so impressed with the cleanliness of the place....it was not like a nursing home as you may think, but more like a hotel. ..beautiful well tended gardens, lovely reception area and friendly staff. After that visit, i feel much better about ending up in a nursing home....well as long as it is The Red house nursing home and at least as good as. Well worth a visit
